What is the best version of SPP for processing RAW files from the SD15? I picked up a used SD15 today, updated the firmware, took a couple of test shots, looks like it's working ok. It's been a minute since I processed Sigma files, I have SPP 5.4 on my computer that I processed these samples with. It seems to work well but I was curious if there was a version that worked the best with SD15 RAW files. Thanks! ISO 50, 50mm @F1.4 ISO 100, 105mm @F11

Hi everybody. Going to buy me a Sigma SD. There is a very cheap offer for SD15 but I doubt buying it. I like very much SD14 colors, but SD15 galleries don't impress me at all. SD15 shots looks mostly like bayer's ones. So I wonder if it's possible to get that magic SD14 colors from SD15 through SPP or not. If not I would rather go for SD14. Thanks for your help.
Hi All. By the end of this month I am to visit Hungary and shoot there wedding reception. I am going to take one of my Sigma cameras with 17-50/2.8OS, but cannot decide SD15 or SD1M. Maybe some of you could tell me, which camera would be better in this case not to miss a thing. Which lens from my gear list would you recommend as a second one: 50/1,4 for portraits, 70-200/2.8OS as a long range gun or anything else? Take into account the importance of the event. Don't want to carry heavy load...
Hi Everyone: I have been using the Sigma DC 17-70mm 1:2.8-4.5 zoom for several years now. I have an SD15. I recently had the opportunity to shoot a gypsy encampment in India. If I can't print my images sharply at 11X17 I don't consider an image successful. I know it is silly, but that is my craziness. In order to get that level of sharpness, I had to push the images a bit in post-processing. The pictures were taken at ISO400 and all were in the shade. Although I am fairly happy with the...
This image was taken with a Sigma Foveon SD15, 17-70mm lens, at 70mm, ISO 800, f7.1, 1/125 sec. I am very happy with this picture, as everything seems to fall into place: composition, color palette, background, and particularly the woman's expression, which is very Mona Lisa like. I need some help though. This picture was taken in the shade and is under-exposed. The problem is that the foveon sensor seems to struggle with subdued light. For instance, at 200% the integrity of the image begins...
For example: DP2 vs. DP2s? All my Sigma DSLR's are compatible with all my various converters. Therefore, my current philosophy does not include SD15, Merrill, Quattro. I am aware that the DPnX models have an AFE similar if not the same as SD15. So, not interested in those. Thinking of trading or selling the SD9 for a DP1s or DP2s model but first I need to know that, for example, FastStone Viewer will open a DP1s or DP2s file without color cast, etc. OT, but any comments about DP1s vs. DP2s...
