Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG HSM

I purchased this lens second hand - already having a 70-200 F2.8 and 200-500mm F5.6. I figured there may be some middle ground to be covered between the two and Sigma are unique in offering something to suit. I looked at their 300mm F2.8 prime but i figured it was more expensive, and less versatile so i took it off the radar. I was looking for a 300mm F2.8 lens for wildlife and sports and was surprised to find this lens as an option to getting a fixed focal length lens. Sigma have a lot of good lenses but they also have a few great ones as well that compete with the best of any brand, like the 10-20, 100-300 F4 and this lens 120-300F2.8. This lens is fast to focus (on my D700) and has a minimum focus distance of just 1.5mtrs. Its sharp and contrasty and has virtually no vignetting or PF or distortions. I like to ...
