Hi… I’m after purchasing a lens for my Samsung NX 300 to create Panoramic Images using PTGUI There’s a few Fish Eye lens I’ve seen, but one sure on which one to get. Samyang 8mm f2.8http://www.samyanglensglobal.com/product/detail.do?SQ=17 Samyang 8mm f3.5http://www.samyanglensglobal.com/product/detail.do?SQ=7 The other option would be to get the Official Samsung 10mm Fisheye f3.5 Any comments? Thanks!
A curiosity if anyone has dealt with this – I’ve been lurking a long time but finally found an issue that hadn’t been covered here (successfully). And perhaps my band-aid can be helpful. The camera came on with a black screen in capture but the menu overlays showed and playback was functional, and so I went through everything to get it working – swapped lenses, batteries, reset, re-installed firmware. Shutter didn’t appear to be down. Nothing. Then I read elsewhere that someone dropped it...
I have an nx300 that I have been playing with for a few months. I currently have the standard 20-50mm and the 30mm f2.0 which is a fun lens. Suppose I have $400 burning a hole in my pocket and there isn't a canon lens I want in that price range. Which Samsung lens should I buy? It does not have to be exactly $400, but realistically I wont spend more than $500 on a lens for this system. What are your thoughts? Should I even bother buying more into the system? Also I know this will come up....
I've just recently bought NX300 and I've found there are several Touch AF options: I understand how "Off" , "AF Point", "Tracking AF" and "One touch shot" can be used. But there's one more option "Touch AF" when camera instantly autofocuses on touched area. But when I half-press shutter button to shoot camera auto-focuses there once again. What's the point of focusing twice then?
So i have just upgraded from NX300 to the new NX500 and have noticed that there are a few things missing feature wise compared to the old camera. Of course it has new ones but i was wondering that seeing its running tizen if some features can be ported across from one to the other. Or even a different Tizen camera. I'm not to familiar with how they have set up these cameras but it would be cool if you could install apps that other people can make. Things like macro and best face are missing.

I've been shooting videos at 720p with my NX300 and a f/2.0 30mm lens set on aperture mode, which means manual focus, automatic ISO and automatic shutter speed. Usually I film indoors with every light I have on. Recently I've noticed a lot of digital noise from the very beginning of each video (so even with a "cold" sensor), which could be partly due to the heat of these months. I've seen people on youtube testing their NX300 with kit lenses at night with almost no digital noise but I don't...

Previously I have tried to avoid any noise reduction when processing my files in Lightroom, but I'm wondering if I should be applying a small amount. I shoot with the NX300 and NX1 in RAW + JPEG (using the JPEG as a sidecar file to record the in-camera look of the shot) and normally make minor adjustments to levels (shadows, highlights, etc.), clarity, vibrance, sometimes specific colour saturation, and framing / cropping. For normal (not high ISO, long exposure, etc.) shots is there any need...
I had the chance to buy a brand new 16mm lens (for my black NX300) for just over 100 euro+postage but it was only in white. I was wondering if anyone has this combo and how does it look? Hopefully it won't be too indecent-looking but I thought the price was too nice to ignore only for an aesthetic choice.
