Hey folks, quick questions about Corel Aftershot Pro 2 for anyone using it... I tried Aftershot (first version) last year and it was OK to use, but it wouldn't touch my Pentax Q raw output, which are saved as .dng's. So, my questions: Does Aftershot 2 actually support DNG now? and does it support the DNG output from the Pentax Q? I note it's not listed as compatible, but it's newer siblings, the Pentax Q7 and Q10 are supported in this version; this means that it's compatible with at least...
Hello, I was thinking on some pocket camera to replace my old Olympus XZ-1 (normally I use Sony Alpha 580 with tons of lenses, so my bag is very heavy), like RX100 or Fuji XQ1. In the local shop I tested HX50 for a while and started to consider it. After reading positive review I think to change the decision. HX50 is comfortable in my hand. It has fast zooming lens (zooming in range of RX100 is much faster in HX50) and some other advantages. And is much cheaper. I was surprise about one...

I recently purchased a Markins Q10i with lever release to replace my stolen Arca-Swiss Z1. In the operating instructions that came with the head, are instructions on how to set the torque limit. Not understanding how it is useful in practice I called Markins but all they told me was that it "controls the tension on the ball head". May be it's just me but I still don't understand the usefulness of it, especially because the operating instructions also mention that once someone gets familiar...

Two questions in one, to save some space! The questions are in bold, as I write too much so you can skip to them easier! After a recent fall-through with obtaining an x20 for a cheap price (too good to be true basically!), I was looking at the x10 as a compromise. In a forum post someone mentioned the MX-1, and after reading reviews (and watching Blunty's fawning video) I've kinda fell in love. My Main camera is an EM5 + 12-50mm, but it's not the right size to carry with me to work and out...
I was just having a look at my new Pentax Q7, and noticed that when I bring up the firmware version screen, it only shows the body firmware, and doesn't report the lens firmware at all - is this usual? I'm used to seeing the lens firmware reported also on the Q and Q10. I tried a couple of other lenses on it, and it was the same in all cases (all of them have the most up-to-date firmware already installed, if that has any effect on this). I should add that it appears to be working OK. Thanks.
