I've been scanning films for 4 years with Hassleblad X5 scanner but I would like to try scanning films with my A7R3. Are there any productions that I can scan from 35mm to 4x5 films? Pentax Film Duplicator looks great but too expansive. I wonder if there are other option around $500.

Guys, I just opened a new empty document in Draw X5 and clicked on the page to write some text and it all looked fine till I then clicked on the arrow to resize and all that and it got real crummy and pixelated looking. I've never seen that before so when I looked at different options, I found that under VIEW, Pixel had a circle/ball in front of it as if it was selected. I have never used this and I don't remember turning it on but now, I can't turn it off and I'm pretty sure this is what's...

I have soon shot my first roll of Silvermax on my OM-2SP. Set to ISO100 and exposed according to meter, all pictures taken with Zuiko 35/2 or 85/2. Usually overcast weather, always daylight ànd not too contrasting objects. No filter used, I just got my set of yellow and orange ones that I will try on the last pictures of the roll. Now, I have found a couple of mail-in labs, one that offers genuine Silvemax developer but scans using a Epson GT-X970 at 2400 dpi, and another that offers D76 or...

I'm having trouble using the live view magnification feature of the 80D.  I set the camera to use a "FlexiZone Single" AF point, with one-shot focusing rather than continuous.  I can magnify to x5 or x10 with the magnifier buttons.  But when I half press the shutter to focus, as soon as the focus area turns green the camera instantly exits the magnification back to the full image.  I don't have any chance to verify focus while magnified or to apply any manual focus adjustment if needed.  I...

OK, I'm a professional photographer with 2 published books  (JOHN CAGE WAS is the last one.) I am unfortunately also a Luddite.  Not a good combination!  I like and am very comfortable with the old Photoshop 3 which I have been using for many years, scanning old B&W negatives from the 60's with my Hassleblad X5 and working on them without lots of tricks.   I don't understand the new Photoshop applications and don't particularly want to. Unfortunately while my old Mac G5 runs CS3  new Macs...

Hi, In Manual mode when shooting photos I have level meter displayed, I've assigned a C3 button (trash button) as my focus magnifier  (zooms x5.9 on one click and x 11.7 on second click), this is great because it helps me to nail focus.... BUT.... When I using focus magnifier my level meter is no longer displayed??? I need that because when shooting a hyper lapse I want to make sure every photo is perfectly level. So question is, how do I turn on my Level meter when using Focus Magnifier? Thanks

Olympus OM-D 10 mark 2 According to their web site it says: Enlarged view check by magnify buttonMagnification x5, x7, x10(Default), x14 selectable I know that this happens (or at least I read that it does) when turning the focus on appropriate lenses.  That said, "punch-in" focus assist magnify can be assigned on the Sony Axxx by a custom button, even with legacy lenses.  Does the Olympus OMD 10 mark 2 also have this option? Or is magnify used only for review and/or native lenses?

I have had the X5 for some time but I still have problems with the settings menu. Canon made it worse with the 300 pp manual and the Quick Guide is not detailed enough. I have problems finding exactly how to change some settings in Creative modes, there are different buttons to press and the wheel works sometimes, sometimes not or unexpectedly. Some functions appear to be only accessible after pressing the "Q" button but this seem s to work only once and I have to start all over again. Not...

To start off, I first began learning photography with a Pentax X5 (point and shoot). I used this for about a year until I eagerly bought my first entry-level camera, which was the T5i. At the time, I felt this was the best camera for me because it was within my budget and easy to use. I haven enjoyed my T5i. However, it has been a little over a year since I first bought it and within that time I have outgrown this camera and have also grown frustrated with it's limited capabilities. The...
