Hello photographers, I'm looking for and advice!Do you better recommend the panasonic GF6 or GF7 today?I'm coming from point-and-shoot very compact cameras, and now want to start taking good quality pictures, but not yet a the cost of a big and heavy DSLR. This GF series is what does for me because of its price range and good quality per money (I'd love to buy the GX7 but the price is higher...and after all, what for to put this jewel in the hands of a noob -me!) The GF6 comes with the...
Hi, I've been using Panasonic Lumix GF6 for almost a year, but recently my photo been having glitches even after transferring to computer. Can someone help me ? What is the cause of this problem ? Thank You There's a red line at the right side. This is NOT from bad SD Card
I'm new to the forum, so let me start by saying "Hi". Hi. Now, I have a question that I've been straggling with for the past few days. I'm looking to buy a new camera, and I'm torn between Lumix DMC-G6 and Lumix DMC-GF6. I would appreciate if you could give me your thoughts on the topic. My circumstances, including what (I think) I want to get out of the camera are detailed below. 1. It will be my first camera that is not a simple poin-and-shoot. It also means that I am not looking to spend...
I own a Panasonic GF6 camera and i am rather happy with it. Only the auto focus does not satisfy me; especially when i use the 100-300 mm telelens. It nearly never captures a bird in the sky or is allowed to follow the bird. Also sometimes the camera keeps on focussen without getting a sharp image or keeps on focussing at the wrong subject in the scene. I love to take my camera out in the nature (birds) but i do have the feeling that i do miss great shots now and then. Does someone has a...
Hey guys,I currently have a Panasonic FZ72 (which I've only had since April) but I'm feeling a bit limited by it. I wouldn't want to be without it but I'd quite like something in addition to it - which leads me to the GF6.I've done a fair bit of reading up about it but I'm still pretty new to the world of lenses and aperture!I'd like to know whether you think it's a good step up. I've always been put off DSLRs by the size/weight/cost and I don't think I'd end up using one much so the GF6...
Hi, I have a GH1 body with these lenses: m43: Panny 14-140mm f/4-5.6, Panny 20mm f/1.7 FD: Elicar 35mm f/2.8, Canon 50mm f/1.8 Universal-to-FD: Soligor 90-210mm f/4 C-Mount: 24mm f/1.4. I'm thinking of picking up a smaller body to be used with the primes, especially the 20mm, so that I actually bring out the camera more often rather than anything else. I do not care about high ISO performance, the highest I ever go is ISO 400, usually ISO-100. Cost being an issue, I am thinking of picking up...
Hi all, I am looking for advice - I am looking to buy a csc or small SLR. I have been very tempted by the Lumix fz200, but I just find that it is quite large for all the travelling I do, which made me consider the Lumix DMC-GF6, but I really like a viewfinder. I am willing to buy secondhand to keep a more expensive camera within my budget? Is there something in between these two that I have been missing? Would really appreciate advice!
Looking to get a M4/3 camera in the next few weeks. These are the two I've been mainly looking at. They seem pretty similar. I plan to mainly use it for travel w/ the Panasonic 14mm pancake lens (unless I can get the 20mm at a good price). I may not even take the 14-42mm kit lens with me. I'm going from taking a Nikon D7100 w/ me on my last trip to a M4/3. I want compact and these are pretty compact. Those are basically my use cases. Based on my research it looks like the E-PL5 is...
