2 kind friends bought me a camera to take on a walking holiday with me as I needed a small light camera. The friend who bought the TZ80 is stretched for cash and I was wondering if I should accept the TZ3 from the other friend but I am concerned I may be short changing myself: so what are the pros/cons between the two cameras I should be considering.

Purchased a TZ100. I cant see any real difference between the quality of the images taken by my ancient TZ3 (7.2 mpix) an FS30 (14 mpix) and this new model (20mpix) under what I think are identical settings. I have read elsewhere on the forum (sorry, I cant find that thread now) that some TZ100 models are inferior/have inferior sensors. How can I tell if this is the case for my TZ100? Any advice gratefully accepted!

Hi all. Simple question apart from the GPS the TZ27. TZ30 and TZ31 are the same camera? Can hardly find any info on the TZ27. looked at the Manual and all three are there in the same manual. Been Offered a TZ27 boxed all paper work and cables ect. £45 posted Not bothered about GPS it just drains battery. A grid reference and memo app on my mobile doe the job. :-D Cheers

Hi All, I have a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 with its underwater housing, which I have been using for a while now. It provides good shots but I am getting really frustrated in low lights shots, when the flash is needed, as using the flash seems to produce much darker pictures than without it. It seems like the shutter and flash are not synchronized properly when underwater. I tried two different cameras, both TZ5, and the problem is reproducible. The funny thing is that my gf's camera, a TZ3,...
I pullled my old TZ3 out today with the intention of giving it to my 9 year old granddaughter. Its been out of use for approx 3 years and was working fine when I put it away. It has been in a soft case with a lens cover over the retractable lens, no battery in it, always at room temperature in a box with some of my other photo stuff. Never dropped or abused. I found a battery for it that still has some charge and popped it in. The result was a light purple/pink sort of psychedelic flashing...
I have a Nikon D5100, great for low light and action. But a pain to travel with. Is there a compact or subcompact less than $300 that would be able to take kids in low light or on swings or a air jumping toy. My Panasonic TZ3 superzoom cannot get the kids on a swingset. --I worked on the IBM 650 (tubes)
