I purchased a Lumix FZ150 about 4 years ago after reading glowing reviews which have proved to be very accurate. However, I have recently discovered that some of the settings no longer work. The scenery, sports and close up modes can only produce a washed out over exposed picture. Is there any way of fixing this problem? Also when keeping the auto focus mode open a menu occasionally appears on the viewfinder making it impossible to take the shot when you press the button.
FZ150 Flash do not work on PMS mode. Please advise. (Purchased a used FZ150 6 months ago replacing my broken one, did not start using it, now starting using, but found that I cannot get rid of the "Flash Not Function" sign while using P.S.M. modes, it only works on iA mode). Did I done something wrong need to reset the camera, or it is defective. Seems remember has had no such issue with my previous one. Help appreciated. --bobkwl
Dear Experts, As many of us, I got infected with "upgrade virus" long time ago. For most of time I successfully suppressed it, but sometime he asked me: why not? I have had FZ150 and made thousands pictures and was happy. When FZ200 arrived I was tempting to replace my "old" FZ150, but finally forum concluded: "Yes, FZ200 is number one, but FZ150 is close number two". Now FZ300 came up and "upgrade virus" wakes up again. There are enough threads comparing FZ200 vs. FZ300 (with mixed...
Dear Friends, I have Pana FZ150 since 2011 and have been happy with it. The "update" virus forced me to get Sony A6000 1.5 years ago. This camera is good and often more fun to use than FZ150, but A600 pictures are not so much better that I should expect from big sensor. Yes, zooming in 100% shows more details comparing to FZ150, but with "normal" viewing Panasonic often shows more pleasant (for me) pictures. Recently I bought Sony 55-210 lens, because A6000's kit zoom isn't enough for me....
I have owned both the FZ150 and FZ200 and know how the lens hood snaps into place. On my FZ1000 all three of the lens hoods[new] that I tried come loose at the slightest nudge although they do snap into place. I carry the FZ1000 on a sling during hiking an that is enough to have it come off. Because of the zoom extension,a tether would be quite long. Any ideas to tighten-up the locking mechanism? Thank you. Hugh W.
Having sorted out a FZ200 replacement for my FZ150, I wondered if you guys could help me with a question regarding the LX5 / LX7 Simply,, will the LVF-1 viewfinder, LA6 + LWA52 adaptor tube and wide lens and spare battery that I have/use with my LX5 also fit and work on the LX7 or would I need to "start again" with these bits. Also with the cosy of buying these ""add on"s"" along with the camera, would the outlay be worth it for the better camera / iq that the LX7 would supposedly give me,,...
This has probably been asked before, and if so, please excuse my asking again, but,,,, I have an "aging" FZ150, that I'm not 100% is as sharp as it should be after being dropped a few weeks ago,, first time EVER that I've dropped a cam,, Now although I still have and use the TZ25 / LX5 combo, I'm thinking I will replace the 150,, I had a very brief ownership of a FZ1000 which (to cut the story short) wasn't for me so can you guys answer me this,, Do I pick up another used FZ150 or is the...
This is one of those utterly trivial items that can waste a lot of time. Apparently if I want to add or delete one or more items from the Quick Menu, I have to use the Custom Quick Menu. (Other Panny cameras allow me to simply change the standard one, but OK, this is supposed to give me another choice. Never mind that the Custom layout is clunky and requires more navigation.) OK: 1. I delete an item from the bottom row. Now there is a gap in the lineup on the bottom row. Any simple way to...
Hello, All, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced what might be termed lateral jumps when shooting video (panning) with the FZ300. I just got the camera and so far it's mostly good. 4K video is very clean and sharp whether on a 17" computer monitor or a 55" 4K TV. The 5-axis stabilization is outstanding; I shot a full minute of hand-held AVCHD 60p video (ocean waves) at about 300mm zoom, keeping the camera aimed at one spot, and you would think it was done with a tripod. Rock-steady. Also...
