hello i have the helios 44-2 55mm f2 and i just received the zenitar 50mm f1.7. i expecting the zenitar to be better lens but is super soft even in the center compared to helios. is the lens faulty? the lens looks clean. any ideas? in the images there are 2 scenes each scene first image shot with helios 55 f2 to f2 and second image shot with zenitar 50mm to f1.7.

Hello.. i am sure this is question that a lot of people interest to know the answer. i was checking the 75mm olympus lens in different olympus cameras in dxomark. and the strange is that all the cameras have the same sensor with the same rating in dxomark. but when the olympus 75mm attach to these cameras it seems that there are more than normal difference between the cameras in rating. EPL7, EPL5, EP5 , EM10, EM5 all the same sensor scores 72 in dxomark. When the olympus 75mm attached to...
I used my E-PL5 around two years. However, it appeared a problem last week, I cannot turn on my camera, when I tried to turn on it, it emitted a shutter sound and it will automatically turn off the camera after a few second, even the screen can show the menu, I cannot select anything at all. Has anyone encountered this problem? I guess it may be the shutter's motor problem, is there any method for me to repair my camera except send it to Olympus?
hello. i have the em10 and i bought also the flash meike m320. And i need some information so i can understand the how the ttl flash work. I notice that in TTl mode the flash F changes when you change the camera Aperture. so this means that the camera and flash are pair together. The maximum aperture of the flash is the F2.8. My questions is ..how this flash understand the focal length of each lens. for example i have the 12-40 olympus lens in F2.8. so the flash will pair to F2.8. but what...
My Pen F came with a nice and tiny FL-LM3 flash but that flash does not work on the older cameras. Has anybody had any success with using the predecessor flash FL-LM2 on either the OM-D E-M10 Mark I or E-PL5? It would be nice to know BEFORE I order one. Thanks. --Michael BowerAshburn, VA
Hi, I've shot lots of video with OmdEm5 & Pen ep2. Just got an epl5 -- shot some video with an olympus 200mm f/4 manual focus lens -- video is "wavy" -- a little like what you see from heat waves from a distance but not the same. Could this have to do with IS??? Just wondering Thanks
Hi I have a Epl5 from olympus that i bought a year ago really cheap with the 14-42 and 40-150 kit lenses. Because i wanted to learn about photography and i started enjoying so much i bought the 45mm f1.8. And i'm really loving portait photography and low light scenarios. The thing is now i want to invest in more lenses to compliment my 45mm f1.8 to replace the kit lenses, like the pana 25mm f1.4 for exemple. But then it striked me that i miss an EVF, more than i would think, so i would need...
