hello i have the helios 44-2 55mm f2 and i just received the zenitar 50mm f1.7. i expecting the zenitar to be better lens but is super soft even in the center compared to helios. is the lens faulty? the lens looks clean. any ideas? in the images there are 2 scenes each scene first image shot with helios 55 f2 to f2 and second image shot with zenitar 50mm to f1.7.

Need some help here. Since Krismas is coming. Today i had G80 and Pen-F in my hands. I also tried Post Focus in store, and i see it makes (even setted on desk) mistakes at Auto stacking. I know its 8 MPx, and set of movie. PEN-F feeled much better in hands, since i am used to E-P5. Now i was looking does it have Focus bracketing like Pen-F, and saw on Manual it has such function. So i am in zoos now. What to choose. PEN-F with Oly 17 mm goes for 1400 eur, Pana G80 at 870 eur - just body. Now...
Hi there, I have an E-M5ii and I've just borrowed the Samyang 7.5 from a friend. I actually used to own this lens when I had an E-P5 and it worked fine. However, on the E-M5ii the IS isn't working at all. The image is steady until I half press the shutter. When I do press it the image starts jumping all over the place. Any ideas?

Hello.. i am sure this is question that a lot of people interest to know the answer. i was checking the 75mm olympus lens in different olympus cameras in dxomark. and the strange is that all the cameras have the same sensor with the same rating in dxomark. but when the olympus 75mm attach to these cameras it seems that there are more than normal difference between the cameras in rating. EPL7, EPL5, EP5 , EM10, EM5 all the same sensor scores 72 in dxomark. When the olympus 75mm attached to...

So,I have been an Olympus shooter for some months now. Own a coumple of lenses. Nocticron, Oly 17 1.8 and 12 2.0.Sold my E-P5 body recently and was almost convinced to get a E-M1 II... but the price seems that it´s going to be steep (close to 2K euros)This kind of pushed me back a little from staying in the system.I had almos made up my mind to switch to Sony FF (A7Rii) Sure, it is a bit more expensive... but I get some serious IQ and their lenses are also quite awesome.So... This is more...

Do you think there will be an EM1-MKii + 25mm 1.2 combo?that would be amazing, specially since companies usually make nice deals on lenses when paired with a body. Would be nice for olympus to pair them as a PRO prime combo alternative to jump into the new flagship.I could see that hapenning for arround 1.8... 2k. And would gladly save up some money and sell some crap I use no more to get into that.Been shootin an E-P5 with a Nocticron and a 17mm f1.8 for a While and I cannot wait to upgrade....

I was thinking on getting a nice bag for this setup: Pen E-P5 (soon to change for a OMD E-M1 (or mark II) + Nocticron + Oly 17mm 1.8 + Potentially Pana 25mm 1.4 (maybe Voigt) Would The ThinkTank Retro 5 be enough? In a more distant future I´d like to get a 75mm 1.8, would this bag still be enough? or would I be forced to leave a lens behind every time? Although... at this point I might get a new bag if necessary...Maybe the Thintank Retro 7 would be better?Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot!!
Hi! So, I finally got A Nocticron... been shooting like crazy the last few days. And while the lens is amazing. The body feels too small for it.I have an E-P5, with the EVF. But all in all it feels too unbalanced.I was thinking about switching bodies. I can get good money for my E-P5 since it is in perfect state (shutter count under 5500) and is as good as new.But I am in doubt as to what to get.OMD E-M1 seems like a good choice. Weather sealed, rugger body, a nicer grip.I could also go Pani...
So after pondering for a few days I decided I will keep my Oly 12.I was going to sell that, pay the difference and get a Nocticron. But I think I rather keep the 12 and go for a cheaper 45 (or 42.5)Now the question comes between these 2.Oly 45 1.8 or Pana 42.5 1.7.I own an E-P5 so OIS is not needed, but, that aside, and price difference between both not being a hindrance. Which would be the superior lens?Oh and... if anyone thinks that selling the 12 and going for the Nocticron is still more...
