Very excited, just yesterday I received my EM5 and 7-14 PRO lens! Spent all last night diving into the camera's menus and I've mostly got things configured to my liking. Not as bad as I had feared. One thing has me stumped: On the LCD, the image does not show behind the Super Control Panel. Though it does through the EVF. How do I turn it on on the LCD? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I've had my Olympus OM-D EM5 ii for a few months and the LCD was working fine until suddenly, it just switches off when I pull it out or flip it up. I am not if I had accidentally changed something. Anyone else has this problem? Any suggestion would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am planning on buying my very first mirrorless camera. It will be either Fuji (X-T20, or X-E2S; with 18-55mm) or Olympus (M10 II or M5; with Panasonic 12-60mm). They are all in similar price range. My maximum budget is $1500 CAD. For control and feel-wise I like Fuji better than Olympus. But, when it comes to AF I don't like Fuji much. Hard time taking pictures of my kids indoor unless they are sleeping. Sometimes it hunts for an object to lock on forever. I have tried Olympus E-M10 before...

Hi all, My wife does a lot of macro photography. In particular, she does some bug photos, and some photographs of plants, such a miniature orchids. We have the superb 60mm Oly f2.8 macro, and it's wonderful, but we're starting to get to the point where she wants to get even closer to subjects, and are finding that we'd like something with more magnification and (potentially) a shorter focal length. Here's a couple of sample pictures she's taken with the lens so far: Hoverfly:...

New OM-D E-M5 Mk II, came back from a trip, copied all images to the computer. Mac OS X 10.11.5 (El Capitan). I remember testing the lock/protect image function on the camera at some point and I forgot to unlock one image. That image file is now locked on the computer (and has the usual lock indicator). Looking at the file info, it says "You can only read" even though next to my username the permissions says "read & write". When I try to change permissions for the file, I'm told "The...

Hi, Here's a studio-light-newbie question: I'm using manual (M) mode to expose my shots with studio lights. I'm using the small accessory flash on the OM-D E-M5 camera to fire the main studio flashes. I'm using a separate flash light meter to find the correct time/f-stop combination. Since I choose correct exposure time & f-stop for the flash output with M mode, the image on the viewfinder is way too dark for me to see the subject with just the flash modelling lights on. Is there a way to...

I have an Olympus OMD EM5 - when I use a 'manual' lens i.e. Lensbaby or Voightlander the aperture setting does not show on the back of the camera.   The ISO shows and the speed shows but the Aperture shows as _._.  Is there a setting on the camera I need to change?  I have changed the lens length.  This is very annoying as when I import to Lightroom the Lens type and Aperture do not show. Thank you

I seem to be having a slight problem when setting bust more on my Olympus OMD EM5 MKII. I use this when I want to due bracketing. I go and set the release for 5fps but it remains in single shot mode. What have I missed to make this work. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi guys! I have a question for the Olympus users. I have the possibility to get a OM-D E-M5 mk1 at 390$ and a OM-D E-M10 mk2 (brand new) at 545$. Both come with the same lenses Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 II R. This will be my first mirrorless camera and I'm planning on using it to learn street/travel photography. My question is what should I get, is the OM-D E-M10 mk2 worth the ~150 extra bucks? Thank you very much!
