Just getting started.  I have Touch Screen OFF. Reading manual but having problem with setting focus point  in Wide Tracking [    ] mode.  Unlike Single Point & Zone modes, I get no focus frame to move.  (reference manual page 84 )   As a side, for Single Point & Zone, moving the Focus Stick sometimes fails to bring up the focus frame, but then clicking the rear command dial does. Also, installing or removing a lens takes a bit more pressure than on my E2.  Feels like the E3 is not machined...

hey everyone, having a think about the G9, I'm ready to upgrade my gear and have a soft spot for m43 (my father has a oly e5, brother e3 and em1 mkll) anyway, has anyone had a chance to use this camera for long exposures (5 - 20mins)? and does the image "build" on the screen as the exposure is being made? also has anyone been able to compare its long exposure performance to the em1 mkll (I'm interested in both cameras)? I'm also interested to see if the G9 has the same features as the em1 mk2...

I handled both in a shop but the cameras couldn't turn on so there are things which were difficult to evaluate, so I'd like a user feedback. Anyway, it seems that with for left-eyed people, AF point move with touchpanel will be unuseable anyway. But... With the E3, is the joystick useable with a left eye on the viewfinder ? Is the A-EL button of the T20 operable by the thumb with a left eye on the viewfinder ? Among both cameras, which one is better (or not worst) with glasses ?

Are the plates built in metal ? If it is the case, considering the silver model, is it raw metal or metal painted in silver ?

Anyone have any experience with this: Pixel TW-283 E3 Wireless Remote Shutter Release Cable For Canon Rebel PowerShot Pentax Samsung Sigma Digital Camera The spec says it is usable with several camera makes including the SD1 but needs a different connecting cable for each make. The placement (on Amazon UK) gives no indication where the different cables can be found. it does come with an E3 connector but does not specify which camera that is for. The Sigma remote release only works when fired...

Hello, During my last photoshoot, my softbox caught wind and smashed my strobe against cement. It fell on the battery side.  I tried if it works and first picture came out, it flashed. But when I tried to take second shot, flash did not fire, menu was not working. Only thing it was showing was E3. Can't find what kind of error code E3 is.  Took it to local shop where they have fixed some flashes before but they said they can't quarantee they will get it to work. I'll hear from then maybe next...

HI, I had a frustrating afternoon with my D300 and two SB700s. I am trying to photograph something in broad day light in aperture priority and expecting shutter speed to go 1/x000, but whatever I do it stays at 1/60. Don't know what am I doing wrong. Any help would be much appriciated. Here is what I am doing: e1 - Flash Sync Speed - 1/320 s (Auto FP) e2 - Flash Shutter Speed - 1/60 s e3 - Flash control fir builtin flash - commander mode -  builtin - TTL, Group A TTL On SB700 - TTL The...

Anyone using Oly SHG Lenses with GX8/GH4. Currently using the E-3 with Olympus SHG lenses. Am interested in either the Pana GX8 or GH4 with my adapted ZD 14-35 F2 and ZD 50 F2 Macro.
