Ok, I realize that you are not going to get SLR quality shots from a waterproof compact camera but I at least expected it to out-perform a 5MP HTC phone! The TG-810 cannot handle any shots where there is a big difference in exposure levels and just "whites out" the darker parts of the scene. The Olympus TG-810 is not going to win any awards for speed in any category but if you want a camera that can take abuse and keep taking pictures then consider this camera. The Olympus Series was the first camera wich was ready to deal with this conditions- pro: nearly undestructable self-cleaning of the lens works even under the worst conditions usable even with gloves con: picture quality at higher iso gets really bad slow starting time (as in ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review

As to the qualities related to its primary purpose, taking pictures and video clips, they are about average for this class of photo equipment. My major complaint is the much-advertised (and potentially very useful for the target customer base) GPS function, which adds extra $100 to the retail price (compared to the GPS-less TG-610) but almost never works. It takes the built-in GPS up to 20 ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
