I have a Nikon D700 what is the best way to take photo's all day and send to a computer so that I can email the photo as they are taken.  Is there a long cord I can buy or a bluetooth device that I can get?  What is the fastest and best way to do this or can it be done?

I've had this problem for years with both the D200 I used to have and my D700 I've had for over 5 years. I shoot motorsports, primarily at night. Some cars have reflective decals on them. Some come out okay, most come out underexposed. I have asked around for years and never can get an answer that works. So I'm bringing my question here. What setting(s) affects this? As you can see in the samples below, the first is with reflective that is underexposed and the second has no reflective. The...

I've recently picked up the WR-R10 and the WR-A10 10pin adapter so that I can wireless trigger the SB5000, but I cannot get them to pair. I have them both set to the same channel and next to each other but always get the 'no response' message on the flash. The Nikon website does say that these are compatible with the D700. From a quick google search, it appears there have been some issues with pairing that were fixed with a firmware update to the WR-R10. Is it true that only certain cameras...

Sorry to be daft, but I'm not very intuitive about computer and program functioning. For years I have used NX2 and Capture NX2 for my D7000 and D700. works great. BUT, Capture will not work well with the D7200, and I assume the 750.  Do you that use Light Room upload directly with Light Room for RAW files? I have NX D to deal with RAW 7200 images, but it works SO DIFFERENTLY and does not have the local adjustment options.  For those of you who use Light Room, are you able to upload RAW and...

Nikon D700 user. The Helios 44 is nice and cheap .. need an adapter though, However the new Helios 40-2 has a F-mount version and has better build quality. Can someone rate the lens according to the Swirly Effect and the Sharpness?

Hello All, I wish to buy a cheap FX wide range zoom covering 24-28ish at the wider side to to 200-300ish  at the tele( no shorter  than 200)    for my Nikon D700.   I presently rent a 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 VR.  VR is not important for me but the zoom range is.  I'm thinking of buying a 2nd hand  Nikkor 28-200 D or G. Of the D and G which would be better? Can you suggest any other lenses by Nikon which will deliver good quality pictures with the  D700 ? Any recommendations for 3rd party...

Hello to everybody in the group just joined and hope somebody can give me a little bit of advice I'm thinking of buying a Neewer Close-up NW-14EXM LED Macro Ring Flash Light, to take some close-up work with, I have used some bits of equipment that I bought off of eBay and I was on made by Neewer and of always been pretty impressed with them seen as their relatively cheap but reasonably well built , has anybody ever used this ring flash before and if so is it any good, as well as will it work...

Just purchased a nice used version, from B&H, I got this to go with my D3300 and 18 55 "kit" I've pondered this little macro for about 18 months since i bought the D3300, I'm not a real macro fanatic? but I like to fool around with some close ups on flowers and things. Reviews seem to be in favor of the 85 macro.Total kit weight is a prime reason, just sold my D700 and gear, now using D3300, 18 55, and future 85 3.5 macro. In addition is my D7100 [real battle going on there?] upgrade to...

Hi, l currently have a nikon d7000 which gets used infrequently a d700 which i use a bit more often and an x100 that I use quite a bit.  I love the colour and look of the x100 jpegs.  I'm going to sell the d7000, 35mm 1.8 and 12-24 dx to put towards a fuji ilc.  It would be used as a general walk around camera, probably getting the 18-55 initially and adding 35 1.4 in future. I find the x100 very slow and would like more lens versatility but I put up with it because of its wonderful colour....
