I havent ever used video on my XE2 before (V4.00 firmware), and I cannot see how to turn it on. I thought it would be an option under the drive option, but it isnt there. Dumb question if you know the answer I know, but I would be grateful to know. Thanks

I recently acquired a very lightly used Fuji X-E1.  My trusty old X100 did a fine job of being the gateway drug into the Fuji X system :-) The first lens I bought for it was the 35mm F2 WR prime, then the 18-55 f2.8-4 kit lens.  Both from Glazer's in Seattle; the 35mm brand new, the 18-55 used but I don't think it was used a lot.  Anyway, I quickly noticed that the AF acquisition speed on the 35mm f2 lens is slow-like, really slow and like almost unusable in low light situations that would...

I apologise for the dumb question but I have a strange situation here. On an XE2 I have adjusted the screen settings to always show the distance scale whilst in manual focus mode. It works with all my lenses (35mm/f1.4, 90mm/f2 etc), but not with the 14mm/f2.8. The moment I switch either the camera or the lens to manual focus, the distance scale disappears from the screen, which is bad as I usually zone focus especially at night. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all, I'd like to complement my X-E2 based kit with a single off-camera flash, mainly to refine environmental portraits. My eyes are currently on a Yongnuo YN685 (for Canon) and a YN622C-TX as transmitter; this configuration should have enough power and flexibility  while being relatively cheap (160 EUR approx).  The YN685 has a built in receiver that would let me save some room in my bag. Anyone had some experience with a configuration like this? Is the YN 685 eventually too cumbersome to...

Hello, I have an X-E1 which I am super-happy with. This is my workflow: 1. Take a bunch of photos in RAW+JPG 2. Use the in-camera RAW developer if necessary 3. Transfer to Android tablet/smartphone 4. Crop if necessary 5. Transfer to my online gallery I use a Toshiba FlashAir card for WiFi, and when it works it is great. However sometimes it is really hard to connect to the FlashAir card - I have tried multiple phones, multiple PCs - it's simply a bit of hit-or-miss and sometimes very...

Hope you don't mind if I ask some question(s) where the answer(s) potentially seem(s) to be obvious, but before I maybe miss something I better ask. Coming from a Nikon system I got myself around a year ago the Fuji X100T. I really love that little gem and barely take the Nikon cameras any more in my hands. Something I really love about the X100T is the fixed lens, as it makes me more thinking about composition than using a zoom lens and that way teaches me (again) a lot. But the fixed lens...

hi forum 2012 I had a nice X100, and I was always and still be a fan of teh x series. So I bought a X-E2 for playing around last week. and what can I say. I is the first camera in 20 years of daily photography, that I have killed a camera. I had it in my pocket when I was hiking and it was raining. not too much, but a rain level I would use the not seal sigma art without any doubts for example. I took a few shots but most of the time the camera stayed in my jacket pocket.  Next day the camera...

I have two Fuji Cameras; X-E2 and X100T. Both have microHDMI ports that can be connected to a monitor to display or edit images on the camera's SD card. If you shoot RAW, you can use the camera's RAW converter to create OCC Jpegs before anything is downloaded. This process is simple and if you are familiar with Fuji cameras, you know that they produce fantastic occ jpegs. I have a 2011 27" iMac with 2 Thunderbolt ports, a Lightning 800 port, and 4 USB 2.0 ports, but no HDMI port. Does anyone...
