I snuck across the border from Fujiland to ask if anyone here has used any of the five new IBERIT M-Mount lenses that HandeVision recently released. I have been looking at the possibility of trying their X-Mount version of the IBERIT 35mm f2.4 on my X-E2. Since these lenses are fairly new, there is little in the way of reviews or user feedback available. So, I was hoping that perhaps someone in this forum has used one of the M-Mount versions and could provide their opinion of these...
Hi! I am planning to buy my first ever camera. I dont have background in photography as I usually take photos with my iPhone. I am having a hard time choosing between used x-a1 with 18-55 kit lens and used x-e2 with 35mm f2 which is triple the price of the used x-a1. Is buying either of the two camera still worth it this 2017? Or should I buy a brand new x-a3. I hope you guys can help me. Thanks!
Hi, I currently own a X-E2, plus the XF 18mm f2 and the XC 50-230 II. My question is if the X-T20 will focus faster with these lens, specially with the 50-230 II. For the 18mm i honestly don't care much, as i use it for street / family / Landscapes, so, apart from indoor low light, i don't really need any improvements. It would cost me 500EUR (sell X-E2 for 300EUR and buy X-T20 body for 800EUR), so apart from all the other enhancements on the X-T20, if there is no gain in focus speeds with...
I was browsing lately for an adapter to finally get an old Jupiter-8 lens onto my XE2, but the infinity focus question started to get my head in. Some claim infinity focus will be an option, some point out it won't be possible, even though to my untrained eye they all look the same. is the issue lens or adapter-specific? would I be able to mount different lenses with the same adapter, or would I have to adapt the adapter to each lens (e.g. M42 to M39 and then M39 to FX)? there's also...
I've bought a Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 for my Fuji X-E2 mounted by a no-name adapter. It turned out that triggering the shutter button on the camera won't close the aperture. So basically, there is no mechanical connection between the camera mount and the lens. Is there any way to fix this? For example with another adapter?
Right now I'm using a X-E2 with several prime lenses. My son's 11 month old and pretty fast – too fast for AF on the X-E2. So I'm looking for a replacement. I used a friend's D750 several times and was impressed with AF speed. Actually, you just don't notice AF any more. But before investing in another system I'd like to evaluate the possibilities within the Fuji universe. Reading reviews indicates faster AF on the X-T2. Maybe there's somebody with experience with both systems: Is the AF...
I left the house today to photograph a long awaited demolition of an abandoned bowing alley which has been a major eyesore and political football in our town. I decided to take my Rokinon 21mm f1.4, mounted on my X-E2, plus my Minolta MD 50mm f1.7, and Minolta MD 135mm f3.5. Half way through shooting, I decided to switch to the 135mm for some close up shots but, I just couldn't seem to get the lens to mount on the X-E2 until I realized that I needed to add the adapter. No problem, I'll just...
Just go a X100f. I'm trying to figure out how to assign aperture to one of the command dials. No luck. I had an Xe2 with this functionality, so I just assumed the newer, more advanced camera would have this capability. Is there a way to do this? So far, I can only adjust aperture on the lens.
Aloha! In my camera research I noticed that the X-E1 is considered to have very good dynamic range. The problem is it's hard to find reviews that look at the dynamic range of the X-E1 as it compares to the cameras that came later, like the X-E2 and X-E2S, and the newer cameras that use the same sensor, like the X-T10 and X-T20. It's tempting to assume that because the X-E1 had good DR, then the Fuji cameras that came later have at least as good or maybe better DR. I wanted to ask the...
