Hey guys, I've been using the X-E2 for a while now with 18/2.0 and 27/2.8.I do not want to lug around too much gear and like to focus on 2-3 prime lenses. On my film bodies, my wide normal walk-around lenses were in the range of 35mm to 40mm: Olympus OMs: 24mm, 40mm, 85mm Leica M2/Voigtländer R2m: no wide, 35mm, 50mm I mostly shoot candid scenes from landscape to street photography. As a general purpose lens, the 40mm equivalent often feels a bit too narrow for me, therefore I consider...
My X-E2 has the latest firmware, and my LR CC has the most recent updates. Is there an easy explanation (other than the obvious) for why my enjoyment of Acros simulation has to be through admiring the work of others who have newer camera models than mine? Fuji's firmware updates were part of my decision to make the jump to their brand, and I truly appreciate the capabilities added in the 14 months or so since I did so. What about Acros sims? I'd rather be spending my Fuji funds on Fuji...
Hi, maybe this topic someone already discussed but I'm new here, and any help will be great. So, my problem is as you can see on the picture, my images don't look so sharp. I don't know what happened, but almost all my pictures have this kind of blur around. Can someone help me? I use the Fuji Xe2 on manual focus ( but this also happened on S or C ). Thanks

Hi all, I've been trying to figure out which Fujifilm lenses to get for way too long so I though I would ask you experts for your opinion. I have started doing documentary wedding photography and currently have an XT2 and XE2 with 35mm 1.4 and the standard 18-55. I will look to sell the XE2 and 18-55 lens and get another 2-3 lenses. I am thinking the 16mm for wide getting ready shots and the close ups of the details. Possibly the 35mm during the ceremony coupled with a 90mm, 56mm or...
My X-E2 works well and produces great results. No problem, except while using, it may rather frequently just shut down. It has never happen while taking a photo, but rather shortly thereafter, usually if I am preparing for a next shot, although it may have gone through an automatic shut down or I have have turned it off. I originally thought it was a battery issue, but that is not the case. I have four good batteries, two Fuji & two Wasabi. Problem happens with either manufacturer and...
It's a new year, so it's time for a new piece of Fuji gear. Currently, I have: X-E2 X-A1 XF 10-24mm XF 18-55mm XF 55-200mm XF 14 mm f/2.8 XF 27 mm f/2.8 XF 35 mm f/1.4 So I've got a great kit, but there is definitely room for improvement. I'd like to spend around $1,000, unless I buy a new body. The options are: X-T2 (obviously) XF 23mm f/2 and XF 50mm f/2 XF 56mm f/1.2 XF 90mm f/2 And I'm pretty confused. Overall I'm happy with the X-E2, except the autofocus is not where I want it to be,...
Hi Folks, I don't have a nissin i40 flash. I was just wondering if anyone can confirm if the "forced hss trick" mentioned on many websites with the nissin i40 flash (https://www.wimarys.com/fuji-nissin-i40-hss-force-trick/) works OK on the fuji xe2? I want to start using off-camera flash, with some cheap manual flashes. If I ever want to use higher than sync shutter speeds (e.g associated with larger aperture for depth of field or freezing motion) can someone confirm that if I can use the...
Except for renting a X-30, I have no experience with Fuji, but am interested in adding an intermediate ILC to my stable. For those of you with experience using, what differences, if any, is the shooting experience between a rangefinder (e.g. X-E2S) and DSLR (e.g. X-T10) form factor, other than an articulated LCD? Is there actually a difference in EVFs (B&H's specs list the X-E2 EVF at .5", and X-T10 at .39", but that's the only place I've seen the EVF spec being different). My interest is...
