I've just acquired my first Fuji, an X10, from my late brother's estate and need a little help. I've been through the menus and set it up to what I think I'll like but when I take a shot, I get three identical images each time, with consecutive file numbers. Can't find anything in the menus to correct this, so I hope someone can help. It is set to Aperture Priority, Jpeg Fine, size M4:3, Dynamic range Auto, and AF-S on the front selector. Thanks for any help.
Hello everybody, i own a fujifilm x10, after some use i noticed that some pictures have some white spots in them, I toughtit was dust but dust spots seems more like black dots, these are white, so i did a reseach with google and some people suggest that could be dust in the air when the flash is used. Fact is that i never used the flash during these shots. I'll attach a sample below, has anyone any suggestion? Many thanks
I am toying with the idea of buying an X-T1 but because I need glasses to see details on the screen I prefer to view the menu items in the viewfinder - I can do this with my FZ1000. This can't be done with my X10 but maybe it can with the X-T1. Can anyone tell me if it can. Cheers

I don't use the Tammy as much anymore due to the fact that I feel like I can crop the Sony 18-135 and get better results for objects at a reasonable distance. My quandary is that vacation plans the end of April will have opportunities for wildlife. I can't justify the cost of the g lenses or Tamron 150-600. (I'd rather use the money on more vacation adventures :) ) I was considering the Panasonic Lumix DMC LZ1000 as an all in one travel solution, but my thinking is that as good as it seems to...
Thinking of maybe moving from my X10 to an X-T1 I checked the Image Resource 'Comparometer" only to find that the X10 images were sharper than those of the X-T1. Of course I don't know what lens was used on the X-T1 but one would expect it to be a suitable one. Is there anyone out there who has experience with both these cameras and who can give me a clearer idea of the comparisons?
Caveats: I recently acquired an X-Pro 1. I'm new to processing X-Trans files, and while I've worked on X10 and X-S1 files in the past, I've usually done so in unconventional manner (extracting data using dcraw and working with the resulting TIFFs) so I've generally been learning things in more of an ad-hoc fashion than systematically. So I may use the wrong terms, and would be glad for correction of any sort. Setup: I processed some RAFs in RawTherapee yesterday. The good news: I could get...

I've narrowed down my camera choice to either a Panasonic FZ 1000 or the Sony A6000 with the Sony 18-200 lens. My issues: The FZ1000 is a FIVE year old camera and is still £570 - for a five year old thing! Nasty!! The Sony A600? I've seen some very bad sensor lines on images with back lighting. Hence my question - has Sony fixed the problem or is it still there..? (To be honest, it smells like that Fuji X10 orb fiasco of three years ago!) Edit - I've also been to some stores with reviews...
Hello, I picked up a Fujifilm Finepix F30 ten years ago and absolutely fell in love with it and have been using it ever since with 23k pictures taken so far. I take pictures in all sorts of situations and tend to carry it around a lot. It's taken quite a beating falling from heights and getting wet. Recently though I was wondering if it might be worth upgrading to something newer. I was looking at the XF1 and X10. Would there be a noticeable difference in image quality if I upgraded to...
Quick history, had a full suite of Pentax gear (superb high end stuff) that i sold off as I just got tired of the front and back focussing. I use a Fuji X10 for outdoor walking about but indoors I need a good portrait camera with a proper flash and my big sensor back for DOF control and balance when using a big boy flash. I am considering options but don't want to drop huge $$$, must be APS-C so that leaves me Sony or Nikon. i am thinking to buy with Kit lens and a f/2.8, 28-75mm Tamron for...
