Just bought an SL1000 ~ WOW! However, although Auto mode is great to get you started, can someone please tell me how I enter my required settings in Manual mode? I've looked at the Basic Manual and the Owners Manual online but can't fathom it out!!! Clearly I'm missing the plot here but I know one of you more experienced users will be able to help. Hi not sure what's the matter ....it or me,just bought... this gun sliped it onto the hot shoe but I cannot make it fire,it works fine on the test button but not on the camera.I did conntact Yongnuo direct before purchasing this model and was assured that it would be OK. The fuji instructions do not offer any help !! I have tried all the settings ie Aurto...Sr Aurto P S A but it don't fire.. Can you help George
I recently purchased an SL1000 for my at home studio... so far the pictures turn out great but having to manually transfer them each time to look at the full size is annoying. I would like to shoot tethered so they will immediately open in Adobe Lightroom. I cannot seem to find any information as to whether this camera supports tethering or not? Is it as simple as connecting a mini-hdmi cable and choosing the tether mode in Lightroom? My last option would be the Wireless 2X Pro Eye-Fi...
Looking to get an entry level camera ($300-$400) and have been reading about "true resolution"- size of the sensor/pixel density... Example: FinePix SL1000 16mp = 9.7 mp Panasonic Lumix FZ70 16mp = 9.7mp Canon Rebel T3 12.2mp = 12.2mp Is this true? Would the T3 take better quality pics? I would be using a tripod and have all the editing software (PS, Perfect Effects, etc) Any suggestions would be apprectiated.
I want to upgrade from my Panasonic TZ5 to a super zoom bridge camera.
