iStick allows for easy image transfer from iPhone to computer
While most Android and Windows Phone devices act like external drives when connected to a computer with a USB-cable, transferring files to and from an iOS device is a little more tricky. This is where the iStick comes in. iStick is a USB-drive with an integrated Apple Lightning connector which makes it compatible with more recent iPhone, iPad and iPod generations.
On a Mac or PC it just works like any USB-stick and you can copy and move data to and from the iStick via drag-and drop or copy-and-paste. On the iPhone or other iOS devices it works with a companion app that allows you to view photos and stream music or video directly from the stick, or transfer files to and from the phone or tablet.
Sanho, the company behind the iStick, is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to fund the project. The funding goal has already been reached but you can still pre-order the smallest 8GB version of the iStick for US$79 instead of the US$129 retail price. Delivery is expected in August. Higher capacity models are available as well, the largest 128GB version will set you back US$299. Check out the iStick Kickstarter page and watch the video below for more information.
