While the media event is being held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Samsung is livestreaming the announcement to Times Square.

Samsung took to its Twitter account this morning to tell followers to “be ready” for the next Galaxy on March 14.

Samsung is taking a page out of Apple's playbook by announcing its latest device separately from a big technology conference. By releasing the latest Galaxy device away from the commotion of an event like Mobile World Congress happening this week, Samsung will be able to grab the attention of tech journalists who would otherwise be preoccupied with the news coming out of Barcelona.

The bar for mobile photography has been raised at this week's Mobile World Congress. Manufacturers are putting a new emphasis on smartphone cameras as they promote 13MP sensors and so-called "ultrapixels." We expect the Galaxy S4 to follow its predecessor and deliver a phone with even better camera specs than the S3's 8MP CMOS sensor.

We will keep you updated on the latest announcements from Samsung as it releases the latest generation of its Galaxy devices.
