The International Smartphone Film Festival based in Seoul, South Korea, is accepting entries until the end of February.

Mobile videographers have their chance to shine at this year’s International Smartphone Film Festival. The third annual event is hosted in Seoul, South Korea, and asks for videos shot with smartphones.

Sponsored by Korean mobile company Olleh, the Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival hopes to “lead the trend of the audience becoming filmmakers themselves.”

Films must be made after March 1, 2012, and should be no longer than 10 minutes. While the contest prohibits non-smartphone shooting, the videos can be edited on a desktop computer.

Films need to be submitted before February 28 and the winners will be announced on April 8. The prizes range from a top prize of roughly $9,250 USD along with “the latest smartphone” for the Best of the Fest, to about $925 for winners of the youth categories.
