The Huawei Ascend P6 measures an incredibly thin 6.18mm — slim enough to fit into your skinny jeans pockets.

After teasing us with bits of information, Huawei today announced the Ascend P6, the company's latest flagship smartphone, equipped with an 8-megapixel BSI (back-side illuminated) camera and f2.0 lens. Into selfies? The Ascend P6 also features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with automatic facial enhancement.

The P6 also features auto scene recognition,  image tracking, macro shooting as close as 4cm, 1080p HD video and a 4.7-inch HD display, all in an ultra-slim (6.18mm) build. It's powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, uses  "Magic Touch" technology with the promise of improved responsiveness ("even when wearing gloves") and uses a 2000mAh battery (which is slightly less powerful than the P2's).

The Ascend P6  runs Android 4.2.2 and will be available in black, white or pink, first in China beginning in June, then Western Europe in July, with other markets to follow.
