The folks behind Filterstorm have released a brand new app. Filterstorm Neue offers many of the original's photo editing tools in a clean, iOS 7-esque skin. For beginners, Filterstorm Neue has easy to use photo filters and editing tools and advanced photographers will enjoy the ability to use masks to dodge and burn areas of their images.
Here's a list of some of Filterstorm Neue's editing tools:
- Black & White
- Blur/Sharpen
- Brightness/Contrast
- Clone
- Curves
- Hue, saturation and temperature adjustments
- Reduce Noise
- Shadows/Highlights
- Tone Map
- Exposure
- Edit iPhone pictures at full size
- 10-step undo history when using image tiling
The release of Filterstorm Neue has not been the smoothest for Filterstorm's developer, as fans of the original app looked for specific tools that they loved in the original app. The developer promises that future updates of Filterstorm will include layers, a histogram and the ability to paste photos into the app. Follow Filterstorm's extremely active Twitter account to suggest features for future updates.
