The latest version of the Kodak Moments app allows for editing, sharing and printing of images from the same place, eliminating the need for a separate app in order to print from Kodak Picture Kiosks. The app now lets you capture an image, edit it using a variety of tools or one of 19 filter effects, and share on social media and with other apps, such as Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, Dropbox or email clients.

In terms of printing you can use the app to send your images to any Wi-Fi enabled Kodak Picture Kiosk for immediate in-store printing in a range of sizes, send them to a local store for same day pick-up, or get them printed and shipped to your home address.

Your phone's camera roll can be viewed and browsed through the app's photo gallery view. From there you can select images for editing, sharing and printing. If you frequently use Kodak's printing services the app certainly sounds like it's worth a closer look. It can be downloaded and installed for free from the Google Play Store. Functions and features vary slightly by country.

The Kodak Moments app is published by Kodak Alaris, the UK-based company that owns Kodak's former Personalized Imaging and Document Imaging businesses, that has the permanent right to use the Kodak brand. It is not part of the Eastman Kodak company.
