BlackBerry is trying to catch up to its big mobile competitors by improving the selection of apps for its newest OS in its BlackBerry World storefront.
When launched seven weeks ago, BlackBerry 10 users could access more than 70,000 apps. Developers have now pushed that to a six-figure milestone.
Even with 100,000 apps, the BlackBerry World store trails behind iOS and Android. Unfortunately for BlackBerry 10 photographers, the platform still lacks imaging favs like Instagram and Snapseed, which won't help to sway mobile photographers weary of an operating system switch.
