Viltrox unveils $469 13mm F1.4 AF lens for Fujifilm X-mount cameras
Optics and accessory manufacturer Viltrox has announced a new 13mm F1.4 autofocus lens for Fujifilm X-mount camera systems. The lens, which offers a roughly 20mm full-frame equivalent focal length, is expected to ship in February.
The Viltrox 13mm F1.4 AF is constructed of 14 elements in 11 groups. It has a minimum focusing distance of 22cm (8.7”), uses a stepping motor (STM) to drive the internal focusing mechanism, features a nine-blade aperture diaphragm and uses a 67mm front filter thread. As for measurements, the lens comes in at 74mm (2.9”) in diameter, 90mm (3.5”) long and weighs 420g (14.8oz).

The lens is currently available to pre-order for $469 on Pergear’s online shop. It comes with the lens, a microfiber pouch, front/rear lens caps and a petal-style lens hood. The first orders are expected to ship out in February 2022.
