Blip allows users to take and share just one photo a day.

Blip has jumped on the filter train with Twitter and Flickr to offer in-app photo editing on its photo-a-day social network. Blip is unique as a photo sharing app because of the challenge it offers: users are encourages to upload photos daily, but are only allowed to upload one photo a day. This makes Blip a great app for mobile photographers starting a 365 project or who want to join a smaller photo-sharing social network than Instagram.

In its latest update, Blip added more features to improve the social networking side of its app. Now, Blip users can add entries to maps and view nearby photos. They can also reply to comments on their own journal and view a constantly updated personalized news feed.

Blip is free in the iOS App Store and requires iOS 5 or later.
