After weeks of marketing hype, LG has finally revealed several new devices it's categorizing by "series": the G, Vu, F and LII.

The Optimus G series—initially launched with the LG Optimus G—now includes the flagship 13MP Optimus G Pro. We already got our hands on the device at Mobile World Congress today and found it to be a powerful and feature-rich device with a gorgeous screen.

The Optimus Vu series is aimed at users who want to watch lots of content on the go. Both the 5-inch, 4:3 aspect ratio Vu and the new Vu:II (for the Korean market only) are designed for document and multimedia viewing. 

Both the Optimus F and LII series will be aimed at a broader base of consumers. The Optimus F series includes the Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 smartphones with 5MP and 8MP cameras, respectively. The LII series includes the L3II, L5II and L7II. 

The Optimus G Pro has a 13MP camera and a 5.5-inch display.

LG hopes the Optimus F Series will lure 3G customers into making the upgrade.

  • 1.3MP front camera
LG's LII Series is an update to its popular L Series smartphones.
