Hipstamatic heads to the beach with Brighton HipstaPak
 |
Classic Hipstamatic users can download the new Brighton HipstaPak, which includes the Doris lens and Sussex film, for $0.99.
|
While Hipstamatic's Brighton HipstaPak has been available for Oggl members (tap Get More Gear under Favorites) for a short while, the new British beach themed pak just received approval from Apple and is ready for download. Hipstamatic Classic users can add the pak from the HipstaMart for $0.99. Or, if you're new to Hipstamatic, you can grab the classic version 266 here for $1.99.
In addition to bug fixes for iOS 5, stability improvements and all the features of version 265, Hipstamatic 266 now offers the option to add the new Brighton Beach Pak, which includes the Doris lens and Sussex film. Even if it's a hazy summer day, the Doris lens adds "sun-kissed saturation and contrast," while the Sussex film brings that "sandy grit and warmth" of the beach to your Hipstagrams.
Sample images remind us of old-fashioned boardwalk and beach photos or postcards you might find stashed away in a grandparent's attic. They're kind of retro and kind of cool.
