If you are the type who would consider buying a Hasselblad-badged Sony camera or Ferrari-branded leather jacket, this might be the smartphone for you. The Lamborghini Tauri 88 has today surfaced on the Russian portail mail.ru and comes with a premium material mix of steel (available in Gold, Black or plain steel) and leather (available in Black, Blue, Red, Orange or Brown) that also features some decorative stitching. As you would expect from any device that sports the Lamborghini raging bull logo, the design was conceived in Italy.

In contrast to some of the Vertu luxury phones we've seen, the Lamborghini actually comes with top-end specifications. It has a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution and Google's Android OS is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and 3GB of RAM. 64GB of built-in storage let you keep plenty of images and videos on the device and a very generous 3400mAh battery allows for up to 35 hours of talk time.

The camera features a 20MP sensor and there is no talk of an optical image stabilization system, which leads us to believe this might be the same camera unit we have seen on the Sony Xperia Z3 and its predecessors. The front camera has a 8MP resolution, making it one if the highest-resolving front units to date. Unfortunately there is no talk of sensor size or aperture. The Tonino Lamborghini Tauri 88 phone will set you back $6000 and will have to be quick as only 1947 will be built.
