Fotolia Instant for Android helps sell your smartphone images
Stock image provider Fotolia has launched the Fotolia Instant Android app to join its already available iOS counterpart. The new app allows you to upload images taken with your smartphone to Fotolia's Instant Collection, a dedicated image library for smartphone images, and offer them for purchase to stock image customers.
The app offers a fast uploading process and an intuitive interface with easy keywording and quick indexing of your images. You also have the option to complete a model release, allowing you to control the entire capturing, submission and sales process right from your phone and make your images available to a global customer base. No image editing is required.
Recently the mobile image sharing platform EyeEm launched a stock image service in cooperation with Getty Images and it's great to see another stock image provider actively encouraging submissions from mobile photographers. Fotolia says it has currently nearly 30 million images available for purchase on its website. The Instant smartphone service, which launched in October 2013 and has since then helped users sell 50,000 images, should help to grow this number quickly.
If you think your images have what it takes to stand out in the crowded stock image sector you can download Fotolia Instant from the Google Play Store and get in business straightaway.
