One of our favorite manufacturers at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week in Las Vegas, Nevada has been Moshi – a San Francisco-based maker of accessories for smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
The company has just announced a new portable battery pack, Ionbank, which it promises will be available later this year. Moshi will offer both 5,000 and 10,000 mAh capacity versions that will charge iOS- and Android-based mobile devices via USB. ‘Smart detection’ circuitry allows the Ionbank to recognize and adjust charging capacity for each individual mobile device.
But Moshi also had its full array of products on display at CES, and we ogled over its cozy touchscreen gloves, sleek and compact card reader and smartphone cases.
Moshi's Digit gloves are some of the most insulated we've seen in the touchscreen category, with touch capacity across all five fingers.
Cardette 3 would be ideal for any photographer on the go. The USB 3.0 card reader works with a wide variety of memory card formats and its cord neatly tucks into the device when not in use.
We also loved the innovative kickstand on the iGlaze Kameleon, the origami ingenuity of the VersaCover for the iPad and iPad mini that serves as both cover and stand (a Kindle Fire version is also in the works) and the understated look of the iGlaze Armour that preserves the design integrity of the iPhone's design.
