New capture app can automatically post to Facebook
Camera for Facebook, a new Android app from Mobile Cloud Labs, is now available and can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store. The app provides instant upload to a Facebook album of your choice. That's really convenient for those who frequently post to Facebook but could prove embarrassing if/when you snap a for-your-eyes-only photo. Fortunately, Camera for Facebook has some fail safe settings. For example, you can adjust the app to delay the post or to get your approval before the photo goes live. This delay also allows you to add captions and change the destination album.

Various settings allow you to choose to automatically share all images on Facebook or to delay posting until you have time to preview the photos.
|
In addition to selecting a destination Facebook album, you can also create a new one.
|
You get to choose which album the image gets posted to and can create new albums from within the app. We haven't tested it yet, but it should work with Facebook's new shared albums feature, too. And, to cut down on data consumption, you can set the app to use WiFi instead of your cellular network.
Camera for Facebook works with both front and rear cameras, has four flash settings and captures images in Facebook-friendly resolution. A burst mode is available, but you'll lose resolution in order to benefit from the faster speed.
