You finding the AF fine with the 85? Asked a few people this but still worried I buy it, get to a gig and have a nightmare focussing!

I recorded for well over an hour yesterday in 6k, immediately starting again every 15 minutes without any problem. Delighted with the FW.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the 85. I nearly ordered one yesterday but resisted. I've got the 35 1.2 which is great (although not on the level of the S-Pro) but really want an 85.

So you'd recommend a motorised solution? Any particular ones?

It was a Ronin S I last tested it on and that was ok. The focus only worked in tether and as soon as you put the camera into that mode you lost an external monitor.

Damn everything works for you! Does it work if you have an external monitor attached? Can you see the S1 EVF/LCD and still have the monitor work?

You lot get the lovely top LCD, flippy screen, unlimited recording, AA filter, better preamps etc.!! Oh and you can use it on a gimbal with an electronic focus wheel and monitor! I'd happily pay ...

Absolutely but it's frustrating it seems to work on other S bodies but not the S1. Similar to using a monitor with gimbal electronic focus; you can't do it on the S1 (or S5) but it works on the S1H.

ISO on the S1 does this. If you use the dedicated ISO button then zebras don't show as you scroll through. Mapping it to the wheel they do.

Does anyone know if they've added any of the photo requests like being able to switch eye-AF on/off with a function button?

Hi there. Would you mind explaining how you set this up in a little more detail? I can't seem to get the camera to set adjust flash intensity (well sometimes it seems to work and other times not).

I'd be happy if they fix the problems using Sigma lenses. It's crazy that 2 years in we're still dealing with dodgy AF and crippled functionality.
