At these very wide angles you have so much depth of field MF is hardly an issue. You are not likely to be using this lens for portraits!

Looking at the young lady in the car seat, the detail in the eyes is really quite remarkable, and this at a not so low iso 800. Who needs more ?

which you cannot see on a bright day and if you are older you need to put reading glasses to see anything. A rear screen composition is at best a wild guess. Fine in dim light or if you under 50....
