RX0 and RX10 IV

That could be the only cameras I could ever need!

*thinks this and then buys the next model in 2018...*

Just kidding. Great cameras Sony, keep pushing! Now bring on the RX1 with curved sensor next! We know you can do it!

capeminiol: Will the EVF and monitor be curved also? What about prints? And printers that can print on curved paper. Frames and glass too.

And how about the sensor in the back of our eyes?

my XYZ does so too, for real I swear...

electrophoto: So the 24-70 2.8 has NO Image Stabilisation? at 2200$?
Even Nikons "mildly" overpriced 24-70 2.8 VR costs a tad less and has image stabilisation.

Tamron's pretty excellent 24-70 2.8 has VR... at about half the price (or even less).

And now there's what I've been saying for some time about the Sony FF Alpha:
it's "size advantage" is reduced significantly if you attach the respective fast lenses... making it less appealing in my opinion...

@ Sarge

Again: The 70-200 HAS optical stabilisation. It's not a rumor or something ;)

@ DPreview

Could you please find out if those Teleconverters are compatible with the older FE 70-200 F4?

You guys took a look at the pictures of the new 70-200? There is even a switch for the OSS ;) For the shorter 24-70 there is no OSS but it's also not needed with the new bodies

I really thought Nikon would come up with some innovation this year and then? Another iteration of the same SLR concept from 1861... *yawn*

Nice article!

I love fast 35mm lenses. For me it's the most important kind of lens in my collection (well a Zeiss in my case but that doesn't matter)

nicolaiecostel: She's great at what she does but gee, my brain hurts every time I see her hold the lens backwards. Am I the only one ?

I can move my wrist much more when I hold a zoom lens like this. Actually holding the FE 70-200 from below doesnt allow me to zoom the lens theough the whole range. Maybe it's just my arms but what the lady does looks natural for me in this case. The lens is also not heavy at all and has good OIS so it really doesnt matter at all for most shots.

Kudos to Sony for being the biggest and most constant challenger and innovator in the camera market since 5 years! The camera world would be boring without you!

hey brendon,

every internet forum has a clown, a king of all trolls. Mr RAW is the one here on dpreview with his 13.000 troll posts. It's obviously the meaning of his life to complain about problems that he wants other people to suffer from, even if they don't...

dude be honest, you don't even own any camera and you never have. Not a Sony, not a Leica, Canon, Nikon or whatever, nothing. Never have you shown any pictures! Just made up fantasy stories and armchair rant to waste yours and many others time on the internet. Neither have you taken any pictures ever with those cameras, no JPEG and no RAW. If you still wanna convince anyone on this forum that the opposite ist true, please finally share a picture now taken with any of these cameras taking a screenshot from what I just write here. I don't mind the amount of artifacts either, just a picture with one of those cameras is enough. I know you won't, because all you have is probably a smartphone. Just post it now or shut up forever, thanks.

@ my dear Mr RAW :)
Okay there is a visible difference, and now we have have both for a choice, so what is the problem? Just asking where the problem is now because you mentioned the word problem a problematic number of times... Eventually the problem is deep inside yourself?

@nomoreheroes

Yes, I own Sony. I'm not just a fanboy. Thanks for asking.
