I said that to myself the last three camera bodies I bought. :P When the X-T5 was formally announced, I got more "serious" about my video attempts by buying a video-centric zoom (18-120/4) and a ...

Unless you were video-centric, I would have gone X-T5. X-S10 grip could be improved a bit if you can find a finger grip that attaches to the tripod screw. I think the Sxx series is also a bit ...

50-140/2.8 is an excellent f/2.8 lens, but it it may not be appropriate you do a lot of zooming while you shoot video. Hence, I bought that 18-120 which has minimal focus breathing.

Thanks for correcting my typo. :)

For shooting video, I really like the 18-120/4 for its range and smooth zoom. It does not have OIS; but, works great on a IBIS equipped body like the X-H2. If you want bokeh from a telephoto ...

LOL. Enjoy using your camera! If I had found the X100V in stock somewhere, I would have bought it as it finally has an upgraded lens over my X100S. Buying the X100V would mean holding off on ...

Life is too short to angst over something like this. Buy the 18/1.4 for its awesome image quality and fallback to the 18/2 or that X100V that your signature says you own if you find yourself in ...

Yes, what is the point? Mirrorless 35mm equivalent full frame camera bodies can be small; but, their lenses are still big, heavy, and more expensive --- before adding the name brand tax. Smaller ...

After using the control layouts of both X-T3 and X-H2S, you know how they are different from eqch other. If you are still tempted to sell the X-T3, I would do so. As others have said, having two ...

FWIW, I just received my 30 macro and am going out tomorrow to take my first pictures with it. Going to use it on my X-H2. Also rented a 150-600 to see if I'm worthy of upgrading to it or stick ...

My favorite two prime combo for APS-C is still 23mm and 56mm. I still prefer the 23mm focal length over the 33 or 35mm. However, if you surveyed a lot of photographers, I would expect the ...

I would contact Fujifilm and see if you can get a rough quote for how much a repair would cost. See how you react to the estimate and go from there. A friend of mine had an out-of-warranty repair ...

I switched from a Canon 5D M3 with seven L glass to Fujifilm. Unfortunately, I never used either system in cold temps, so no opinion there. I found Fuji cameras and bodies to be reliable. Never ...

Actually, I didn't pull the trigger on the X-Pro3. Ultimately, I decided to buy a used X-Pro2 and an X-T4. After seeing the cameras in person, I would have gone Dura Black. That Fujifilm X-T5 ...

When I discovered I was not crazy about the fully articulated screen of the X-T4, I usually kept the screen folded inwards and tried to treat it like a X-Pro3 where I didn't want to look at a rear ...

I really enjoyed looking at your images. Thanks for sharing them. FWIW, I also bought the new versions of 18, 23, 33, and 56 primes. Love them. I used the purchase of them to help "justify" ...

X-Pro3 with X-H1 for everything else is a great combination that can give much joy when you use them, regardless how shiny new tech is. That dura coating of the X-Pro3 made me think if I bought the ...

Thanks so much for sharing the images you've taken. Was curious: what camera body did you bring? What tripod? Any filters?

I would definitely try the X-T5 in person. Dedicated controls-wise, I think the X-T5 matches up well with the X-Pro series. The large eyecup helps to be able to see through the center-lined EVF ...

I went on a three-week trip to Japan back in 2018. Was with friends who have never been to Japan before and so was running around, seeing all of the sites. Didn't have time to slow down and enjoy ...
