  • It looks like has a temporary site up where you can download the main software. The windows version downloaded ok, but I haven't run it yet. Tom

Another interesting point, to me anyway, is perhaps the most important tool that we don't have much control over (other than choosing the best one)--the actual raw conversion engine. Here's a good ...
  • I like to compare what different programs produce also.  Your Lightroom version here seems to lack a little detail, but I think that's just an adjustment result.   I would like to see you spend a ...
  • Although interesting, posts like this don't really test the programs/converters as much as they they test the individual user's abilities with each program. I'm curious as to why you have the ...

  • Pixel had great success with Photoshop's filter. I tried the old x86 Polaroid Dust and Scratch Remover software. It did well also. A worthy investment? Only if you also choose to use the expensive ...
  • Verbosity doesn't impress me.  I have degrees too, but I am suspicious of people who wave them as proof of verbal veracity.  I admire your technical photoshop skills, but that doesn't mean that ...

  • Very cool. Thank you for posting this. Tom
  • Besides a little horizon alignment, I would like to see the light source on the pier cloned out along with its influence on the left side of the scene. It's distracting and forces one's eyes to ...
  • Thanks for taking the time to link to another shot of that cute little guy on a branch.  Your original post photo looks way better when I look at 100% zoom or larger. When I talk about detail, I ...
  • I was talking about the photo in your first post.  I wish you had a raw version available.  I'm still not sure if you shoot jpeg or raw. The photo seems to have diminished detail due to either a) ...
  • Hello.  I don't mean to be criticizing.  I've never had a lens with that range so I'm just speaking what I can see from what DPReview calls the original size of your upload. The image of the bird ...
  • To me it looks more like the result of a poor lens or of over-cropping.

Sorry for the crappy job, but with a little time the t-shirt creation could work. I cloned the daughter's shirt onto dad and used the history brush to clean things up. It still needs a lot of work. Tom
