What a great photo, and a great building. I grew up in Chicago and miss the city dearly. If you love photography and architecture, there is no better city in my view. There is so much great ...

Yeah, you're right. It was more rhetorical grumbling than a sincere question in search of an answer.

Here’s what I want to know—when is Adobe going to harness all this AI stuff to put out noise reduction that can compete with Prime and Topaz? Super-resolution is nice but I’d really be interested ...

Erik--I like your attitude! I hope I've got the same approach to life when I'm 81. I like the a1. It's an awesome camera. The responsiveness and the focus improvements are well worth the ...

I had one bad experience similar to this on ebay. I sold a Zeiss 24-70 f4 on eBay. A month goes by and the guy messages me and says the lens is busted and won’t focus. I had packed it securely ...

Seems like there are some weird splotchy color artefacts on the left. On the right side is definitely less detailed and blurrier, but also seems to have some weird artefacts that look like a fine ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notre_Dame_de_Dinant Sounds Roman Catholic to me. Most things that include references to Mary are. That, plus the French influence in the name and Dinant's relative ...

Yeah. I agree. I’d just tell the guy that he bought it, he’s stuck with it so long as you didn’t misrepresent the email quality. That’s the risk you take when you buy used—that it’s not what ...

everything I’ve read touts high iso improvements in the a1 because of the stacked sensor. But when I compare the a9/a9 I against the a7 iii, it seems like the a7 iii comes out on top by a bit. ...

Hi all, I'm looking to sell my a7r iv. I love the camera and have babied it but, for various reasons, it has not gotten the amount of use that I would have liked, and I'm not sure that's going to ...

I am, unfortunately, severely tempted by this camera. I've enjoyed shooting with my a7r series cameras over the years. I've had no need for additional resolution. I can crop to my heart's ...

Does anyone know whether the camera is available in person at camera shops and Best Buy. I'd assumed not, but since yours is coming soon, I'm wondering if maybe it might be available for handling ...

That's my assessment, too. I'm mostly interested in how it compares to the a7r iii and the a7r iv. It seems like high-iso noise performance is on par with the a7r iii, despite the increase in ...

The upshot is you still have 26 MP photos—more than any a7, nearly all DSLRs, and downright huge compared to the 16mp I had in my first ILC, the a57. I’ve got plenty of 16 no photos that I love ...

This is super helpful. Thank you.

Hi all, This is not a photography question really, but I bet there are some folks here who could help me out. I don't shoot astrophotography. I'm mostly into landscapes and cityscapes. But my ...

Me too, mostly. If just taking snaps of family events, I do jpg. If taking “serious” photos that I may print large scale, I shoot raw+jpg and process the raw if I’m not happy with the jpg.
