Mine is like that as well, I can use the zoom ring easily using thumb + indexfinger ('pincher alike') while the focusring requires only the pinky (when using DMF focus mode for instance).

Since the Quick Charging protocol is fully backwards compatible it should be safe to charge the camera with one of those (super)chargers however it will gain you nothing in charging speed compared ...
