photography-lover: Shame on DPreview for continuing to review Leofoto products.
This brand has too long a history of IP theft.
It's simple - don't buy the Chinese knockoff if it's not to your taste / liking. Buy the RRS. They are a great / expensive product.
Bigsensorisbest: No manfrotto?! I've bought them all my life
"They" clearly should have consulted with you first, before doing this review.
NikonMike: It seems like tripod reviews always leave out Benro, which seems very popular with You Tubers. Would be curious how their tripods compare to the others.
I have a Benro (old and not sold currently). It's excellent!
Saleen1999: Who in their right mind would pay 1000.00 for a tripod??? I have a really nice tripod good quality and made of carbon fiber.
Reality check - Plenty of people. So many, in fact, that it's difficult to get your hands on one of those $1000+ tripods readily.
ewelch: I do own a Really Right Stuff tripod and I've used a lot of top-tier tripods over the years. Gitzo (owned a reporter tripod since '88), Bogen, etc. And nothing even comes close. The head is just as good, as are all the accessories. But holy smokes it's a once-in-a-lifetime purchase.
My only quibble is their political stances on certain topics I won't go into here. But it's not hard to find out what they are if you want. I probably wouldn't buy from them now. (Hint: moving from California to Utah when they did should be a good indicator.)
Whatever (about your quibble / political stance)... this is about tripods. There's always something that someone will find an issue with... a hell of a lot more companies will move away from CA. CA is a disaster.
PDYFlyfish: Talented guy. It is unfortunate that his website has a political slant.
Manners for scum like you. I think not.

That's a laugh. Since you're so knowledgeable, why don't you give me a history lesson! I'll wait. You nazis will always stand up for each other, no doubt. People have had enough in this country. Well, the sane level headed people at least. A bunch of ignorant worthless people trying to overthrow the govt with their little guns and painted faces. What a disgrace around the world. Good. Hope it stays that way. Ignorant self-righteous.
About that history lesson. Go for it.
(unknown member): I'm really surprised that he didn't need wider than 35mm with all the indoor work he had to do.
You're the expert! Why don't you go tell him what to use... What the hell does he know. He's only covered two Presidents.
UllerellU: Conclusion: Changing lenses is a real pain, wear two equal bodies with different lenses.
He's not allowed to use a flash. Talk about obtrusive!
obscurelines: I'd be anxious not to have a wide angle lens to hand.
You shouldn't worry too much about it.
PTAX52: A pro photographer does not let political views get in the way of his job, that's #1. #2 a two camera set up is a must for covering any event or important shoot, I have photographed different events indoors and out and all ways used a two camera set up, at times it would be a 17-50 F 2.8 on a K3 Pentax and a 50-135 F 2.8 on a K3 MK II, when I moved indoors I put a flash on the K3 set up and on the K3 MKII i would use one of three primes, Pentax 31,55 and the 77 F 1.8. I just added a K1 MKII to use the primes in true full frame and replaced the 17-50 with a 24-70 F 2.8 FF Pentax.
He did not make comments while he performed his duties. He did so, as a non-government worker when he did make comments. That's #1

Because everyone is supposed to be a-political, correct. Let the Nazi President do whatever he wants, right?
One can go about doing the sky replacement using PS. It's a lot more involved, and there are numerous ways to do it (in PS), this is just one click. People are up in arms about what exactly? That's its become too easy? I suppose that's something to gripe about. Most people doing any serious photography probably will not be using this feature. It''s all fun and games until you put an eye out (can't tell the difference anymore from the real sky to the fake sky). In the end, this piece of software is not a big deal, until Adobe comes along and does a better job of it, and then well, let's see where things go in the next 5 to 10 years. The whole thing may fizzle out from disinterest, or it could go the other way.
If I'm at a location for a day, and I'm 100s, if not 1000s of miles away, and I'm not going to be back to that location anytime soon, I think using such a tool or method is perfectly fine, if it can be subtle and convincing. We're not in the 20th century anymore Toto.
Tomasz_Wk: All the “armchair photographers” here complaining about the fact that this high quality serie is sponsored by Canon should ask themselves why their great and virtuous own brand hasn’t thought about it sooner. This série also promotes the love of photography as a whole.By the way I’m not a Canon shooter but I highly enjoyed the show.
Completely agree. The show started out being aired overseas (from the U.S.), but got picked up by Netflix. Thoroughly enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 so far. I have high hopes that season 2 will be just as good, as seasons 1 and 2, if not better.
CIASpook: Ok, too much to read and I couldn't find it with my amateur skimming.
Other than having a lighter weight camera and 5 axis VR, why would I want the Z7 over a D850?
Also, I know it is full frame, but since it requires an adapter for use F-mount lenses, is there any type of crop factor?
Spook - no one, certainly not I, am "worked up over it". Just SMH over the proposed assertion

It's a Full-Frame system... where are you getting the idea of "crop" from? The adapter... I would hope not.
M Chambers: A key problem with reviews of the D850 is that they're just copied and pasted from D810 reviews! The D810 did not live up to many of their claims.
"The D810 did not live up to many of their claims."
Like what?
Xentinus: How sad they look :( May God open them new doors for a better life.
Sorry to say, this is and most probably be their life. Sad!
ozturert: I did not understand one part. The photographer took many photos from her hip with silent shutter. Does it mean that the girls/women did not know that s/he was taking photos? Did they all consent to photos?
First read the article. Then ask questions.
Wubslin: Your tax dollars at work.
That's humorous... that you are in a position to approve / disapprove...
