moga: First, single slot memory card. Now this grip with no controls. What do they smoke?
This way Nikon lost 50% of potential buyers, professional photographers. At least, even with no contacts for external grip, they could have implemented some kind of wireless control inside the grip, which would have been great, even better than contacts.

They don’t smoke, I’m afraid.

@Ellis - Photography happens to be my job, yes. Look at the runway shoot, for example: the woman's got no forearms… as a client, I certainly would NOT be happy with this image. I looked up McQuarrie's photos on the web: the first scoop of images show a friendly, happy-going guy I'd love to have a drink with. But he is totally petrified in the portrait that's been offered to us. Would you hang that in your home? Seriously? One last one (the car shoot): what does he do with the fantastic light? He shoots the car from above, flattening it, and giving prominence to the unkempt gravel and grass. Nothing to dream about. Or maybe I got it wrong, and the photo is meant to make me ponder why these roads are in a such bad state. Looking more closely, there's a brown patch that might be dog sh*t next to the passenger door. Should have moved the car or erased it, don't you think?

Leica soon to release "lightest and quietest Leica ever made", by removing the shutter assembly. No-one takes pictures with these anyway.

What a poor sight (especially the lens)... they should have kept it intact - might be worth 50 bucks in a couple of years, as a collector item!

I hope this review was posted by a bot, and that the dpreview team is on holiday. Or this could be a good reason for quitting this site.

The interesting word here was "running".
Of course, for some it might be hard to follow ;-)
