Because - Q2 is not a rangefinder - you Canony use Q2 lens in film cameras - and with all due respect, Q2 lens is not even cover a FF circle. It is a different animal

I personally scan them, and print the best one on the enlarger.

> And it's much more environmentally friendly too as they get recycled at the source. So you are saying that it is more environmentally friendly to replace a whole machine instead upgrading one...

My first thought was a fresh smartphone grave, not the moon surface... Is it just me? Or just not the best marketing?

I love the vintage lenses, but there is no way the old macro will resolve 40+ mpx of modern sensors at 2:1 magnification... Horses for courses.

Looks like a great lens for slide duplication or digital reproduction. I wonder what magnification is it optimized for? It goes from 2:1 all to infinity... Interestingly some of the best macro...

1. Leica users do not do any sudden wrist movements. They are in full control, anticipating the “decisive moment” way before it happens. 2. I don’t think the target audience is using buses.

@panther fan Fair point. But attaching any value to the thing which has a value practically decided by a 3rd party feels.... centralized. But you are right, stocks can also get removed from...

Very good read, @Lessiter. I have reached similar conclusion following P2P, cryptocurrencies, distributed computing, open source and messaging apps. I used to run my own XMPP server :) Times are...

@Niko Vita No idea how do you connect camera producer’s sales strategy with chemitrails. The strategy of forcing upgrade through incompatibility is as old as the world of mass produced...

Thet will sell lenses in new mounts even with zero technical advantages. One will call it progress, the other a clever strategy to push body sales.

There should be a Leica M11-D whiteout a screen soon. But it will most likely be more expensive.

They should make it from biodegradable plastic.

They might have improved things, but I could not make it work for EF lenses on Sony (Sigma Art) or EOS-M (17-55). No way to force a specific correction. This was some years ago though. When it...

The downside is it will not work with any adapted lenses. Only "native" lenses are supported and there is no way to apply even basic geometric distortion if the lens-body match does not exist in...
