The background pushes the subject into atttention.
The Edge of the table Elevates the Ramen further..
The plate, The bowl and the Table shares the same top center creating some kind of a common peak. The phone Chop Stick and the wallet frames the Plate...

it also creates some tension and makes the eye wonder around after you get over the Ramen..

This composition invites discomfort...

Notice the plate and the bowl favors the left upper corner...

But the whole frame is balanced by the table edges...

Another Angle of the first Snap... now we are able to include the bottle and the glass and the laptop...

A very easy way of reusing the same layout but taking another view point...

Composition:
The table sides are in 45 degrees with respect to camera frame... The Chop Stick, Spoon, Fork and knife is in 45 degrees Also... My Hero Dish is in the bottom where the lines converge. The plates on top are equally spaced from the edge of the frame.

The Burger plate is rotated in such away the burger is near the center, while the wedges and burger flows evenly horizontally..

Notice the chopstick is placed so that it covers only the dark area of the Ramen and not the so important duck..

Mistake:

My foot can be seen... Darn...

I love those Spoons...

Robert Evagelista: It is a good sign more and more Photographers penetrate the Management.
This surely be helpful to the Company As engineers (I am also an Engineer ) can loose perspective on what the purpose of the product.

I do remember reading it.

A great 2nd camera, for its price.
It saved up money by Getting rid of

IBIS
Aluminum Unibody
Dedicated Dials
Articulating Screen
EVF

But got a supposedly good sensor.

Ggreat 2nd Camera
