On article Fast Five: Sony Cyber-shot RX100 V Review (433 comments in total)

I love the reviews and in-depth information on this site. But I am a little curious at the knocks the RX100 series has received ever since the review of the m3, which I have. I have no problems whatever holding the camera. I hold it like a DSLR: cradled in my left hand, my right hand operating the controls. All of the parameters I would often change in a session are available by pressing the Fn key. Are controls small and close together? Yes, but this is a really small camera; that's one of its selling features. I think that the evident disappointment that shooting with an RX100 is not like shooting with a larger camera with numerous dials and buttons is unreasonable.

Nectar D Or: Just counted 9 (!!) NEX bodies announced by Sony in about 2.5 years.

How can anyone keep track? Is there really a difference between those cameras?

I find it hard to take the guys at Sony seriously. Either there is something really wrong with those bodies that need to be replaced every 6 months, or this is just the marketing people ordering the engineers around.

I actually like my F3. I've had none of the reliability problems others cite; I like its size (easy to hold); it seems to be built very well, plastic notwithstanding; and if it's not the smallest NEX, it is quite small compared to my daughter's Canon 3ti with its kit lens of 18-55, same as on the F3.
