Introduction I got the OM-5 as my birthday present and upgraded from EM5.3, and had some indoor shots of cats. Here is my mini review after using it for a day of shooting. I mostly focus on ...

If you are comfortable purchasing memory cards in Hong Kong, you may visit Yoho Hong Kong for the Samsung EVO Plus 512GB . If you are more comfortable purchasing from Amazon, it has a promotion on the

The only problem I see is that we seldom find UHS-II micro SD cards. Therefore you are limited to UHS-I transfer speed (104MB/sec). Are you living in Hong Kong?

It seems this is the only way out. I have sent email to Topaz demonstrating the issue.
-
Before. But my tests showed that Topaz Photo AI is poor at handling OM-5 raw files. From reduced exposure to funky colors and artifacts. If the issues are not related to Libraw, I would relate them ...

Please accept my apology for my wrong assumptions. I would never use Topaz in raw mode. Rendering of ORF in PhotoLab 6 Stand-alone Rendering of ORF in Topaz Photo AI 1.1.9 Stand-alone.

I see. I would contact Topaz support on the issue then. Thanks.

How about software development documentations from manufacturers? Are they all easy to find? Thanks.

Hi, I assume Canon and Nikon (maybe Sony) are better supported since they are more mainstream. I am not sure about Olympus or OM System cameras.
-
Hi, may I know when the support for OM-5 be official in LibRaw? I see support in FastRawViewer v2.0.6 (beta). I am using this camera, and I am not sure if it is actually supported in Topaz (via ...

Yes, PL6 does not produce exact result when returning to LrC, but it is usually not far off. DxO PL6 DNG returned to LrC. No adjustments applied.
-
Nope nothing applied, just import photos into LrC and the launch Photo AI via Plugin Extras. So I am not sure what went wrong here.
-
Hi Redcrown, you may consider this as by design of "Windows Installer". Unfortuantely most if not all Windows Installer apps need to place the "MSI" file inside C:\Windows\Installer. Topaz is just ...
-
I am also not exactly sure about "the shimmer of the sun", but I am testing "Control Point" local adjustments in PhotoLab, and tried reducing highlights and increasing contrast.
-
I am not sure. I just tried the "Plug-in Extras" method, and DNGs come back from Photo AI are darker than the originals. Original RAW File in LrC DNG sent back from Photo AI. I think it may have ...

I agree that DxO + Affinity is a logical alternative to Adobe offerings.
-
I use Photo AI in the final stage through "Edit in" in LrC. After that I would export JPEG.
-
Would you consider using Canon DPP for editing your RAW files, then export as TIFFs? For paid software, I think Adobe LrC, DxO PhotoLab and Capture One all support the Canon 5D Mark II.
