On my PEN-F , which is my body of choice for manual lenses, I have settings for 6 lenses, 2 of which are FE: (1) Samyang 7.5/3.5 (2) Olympus BCL 9/8.0 both set to ...

If you care more about video, I'd suggest Panasonic GX85 or GX9 I use my GX85 almost exclusively for video, especially 4K video/photo mode. I use my EM5.iii for stills

I have the EM5.iii (and previously a Nikon D7200 owner). I don't have an OM-5, so what I'm about to describe applies to EM5.iii (and pretty much all EM5,10,1) Switch on your OM-5 and press the 'OK' ...

GM1 + 15/1.7 + 45/1.8 + 12-32 + 2 batteries + charger

I was in a similar situation 2+ years ago As I shoot mostly with Olympus - my GX85 for HS basketball games and my GM1 for street/city photo-ops - I chose to 'replace' my 9-18 with a Oly 8/1.8, ...

Each has its own distinct advantages: OM-1 latest tech; EM5.iii for smaller/lighter travel or leisure photo ops; E-P7 for its cool color/mono profiles jpg not available on the other two No really. ...

enough DOF to include the bridge 👍🏻

Maybe for other brands and formats, but certainly not for me. In fact, in 2015, I switched from Nikon dSLR to m43 (Oly and Pany) because of available primes - mid-tele O75/1.8, S60/2.8, 7Artisans ...

+1 Great composition! I particularly like the silhouette of the man too

just like i did in my film days. I do some PP with Olympus Workspace/Viewer3 on the jpeg files to taste - EC, Dehaze/Clarity, Highlights/Shadows, Contrast/Saturation, in that order.

I'd recommend the Panasonic 45-150mm f/4-5.6 ASPH. Mega O.I.S instead of the Olympus's. I had the 40-150 (bundled with my EM10.i bought in 2015) and when I bought my GX85, it came bundled with ...

Somehow I missed this thread. Nice job! Time for me to revisit my 75-300, with EM5.iii. The last time I used my 75-300 was on my PEN-F, 4 years ago!

I bought the same bundle in 2017 for about US$699 iirc. Primary use then: shooting high school basketball games in 4K photo/video mode. Both my sons stopped playing basketball when they finished ...

When I was looking to replace my 9-18, I did consider the Olympus 8-25 and Panasonic 8-18. Whenever I have the 9-18 on my camera, it's @9mm, i.e. I use it as a 9mm/f4.0 prime lens. My biggest ...

Most used: 15/1.7 Least used: 70-300mm

I'm assuming here you're responding to my earlier post. I shot high school basketball, played in typical HS gyms, where I can get shoot close from the sideline. Nothing professional. Camera body ...

14/2.5 - after I bought 15/1.7 60/2.8 - after 75/1.8 30/1.4 - after both my sons stopped playing HS basketball 7.5/3.5 FE - after 8/1.8 30/3.5 macro - forgotten until just now :) kit zoom lenses - ...

Here's one way (1) Press the Playback button to review photos (2) Turn the zoom wheel - the one with the magnifying glass - towards left

I don't have the OM5 but do have an EM5.iii + 12-45. Not a fan of 12-40/f2.8 simply because I like my camera bodies to be no bigger/heavier than my EM5.ii/iii or PEN-F. Having said that, I do ...

Nice set! Thanks for sharing. I used to shoot HS basketball but those are nothing compared to yours which are excellent. My (humble) setup: GX85 + Sigma 30/1.4 - 4k photo/video mode with 8MP frames.
