The 100 dollar 105mm f2.5 AI had been the most popular l portrait lens in the 70s. The new lens surely means something to celebrate Nikon 100 million lenses milestone !

On article Nikon releases Capture NX-D 1.0.3 and View NX 2.10.2 (47 comments in total)

I picked up my D500 today.

NX-D runs like a turtle when processing D500 14-Bit Uncompressed RAW image file .

Nikon has deliberately suppressed support of D500 and D5 RAW files on ViewNX2 and Capture NX2 ( I saw the image displaying ok for a fraction of a second before an error message pop out saying "file format unsupported".

I paid my Capture NX2 , I had been very happy with ViewNX2 to browse my Nikon RAW images in best speed than many other graphics image software , I paid over USD 60K Nikon gear in past 5 years, I paid a D500 today and going to get a D5 soon to replace my D4s; what I get is a turtle slow NX-D that took ages to render RAW images on my HDD which I only wanted to view it

Can Nikon restore new camera RAW support on ViewNX2 and CNX2, go back and fix this serious issue with their NX-D team .

I am a subsriber of CC running on Win7 64-bit . Currently LR 5.7.
Reason I subscribe to CC is I will get latest updates of everything.
Question is do I get LR 6 without paying extra?

Hi, Overlooked the comments section. It was a lucky shot, didn't flip the image. Thanks for your feedbacks if not late

Nikon should make themselves a good example to stop using Sony image sensors but do make their own

BoFiS: Ugh, STOP IT, basically everything 4.3" and above is too big to hold and use in one hand...our hands have not grown in the last couple of years, why have our phones?! Also all that extra space is silly if you're just going to fill half the home screen with an even-larger clock/weather widget.

Larger displays have all the advantages over smaller, unfortunatley the heavier the device the easier to break when drop it. I will stay with S3 and S4 because I am outing a lot.
