Really exceptional colour science and profiling here.

There is of course an element of truth to this, but there's no getting around the fact that there are such things as sharp and soft lenses. Everyone knows that. Putting an SLR kit lens on an A7RIV ...

A sensor, can easily be, and in fact always is, underesolved by lenses. There are no lenses that output a true resolution equal to that of the sensor they are placed in front of.
-
Indeed, there is no unexpired Aerochrome stock as far as I am aware.
-
There's not always news for niche hobbies. Get over it and move along.
-
If this is respooled from Aerocolour, doesn't that mean it will have an extremely finite supply?

Chunky, and with a vlogger screen so that's a no from me.

I've been shocked this week by the main camera of the Iphone 14 pro. In decent light it matches my Fujifilm 18-55mm 2.8 at 18mm on an X-T3. I have mixed feelings about this as on the one hand, ...

I was very close to buying a GRIIIx but this has changed my mind I think. For the same price I can buy a phone with three lenses...It wouldn't replace all cameras for me, because there's an ...

I think us few remaining photo devotees will have to wait for the X-T5 later this year or early next.

Canon using scummy anti-consumer practices? I'm shocked.
-
Both cameras actually use the same sensor. I can't explain the difference in test results other than to say that they are somewhat dependant on firmware and other manufacturer changes.

All the foliage, particularly the trees to the right hand side.

Fujifilm greens are a weakness to be sure particularly in their in camera jpgs, which are awful, but your shot looks like something is defective
-
When you adjust shadows and highlights you are simply taking advantage of the sensors dynamic range. DR is not what shows up in the ooc raw.
-
Noticed that as well, how funny.

Yes I assumed it was a cooling fan of some kind.
-
Yeah I think it's not a repairable 'problem'. It seems to just be the way it was designed. It's not as loud as my Pen-F when the IBIS is engaged on that model.
-
Yes I noticed that as soon as I turned on the camera. The odd part is that it's constant, whether or not the IBIS is engaged. It's not wildly annoying, just strange.
