You must understand, and I am sure you do, a lot of people have pride of ownership, and are heavily biased. Especially here on DPreview. Members on Fred Miranda seem a bit more down to earth and ...

Oh, I see. I agree. Yes F4 is F4. Unless you are a DPreview light equivalence right fighter - LOL.

What focal length range do you use? MFT is really a prime candidate for telephoto use since every lens is 2x. With an Oly 8-25, Oly 12-100, PL 100-400 lens you can shoot from 16-800mm equiv with ...

Haha. That's my friend Ruvy with the XH2. I am banned from the Fuji forum from long ago, so I got him to post for me. That is my post on FM. Yes, that is what I am talking about. All cameras have ...

Around 50MB for the raw files. I think it does. Although it is possible I got a bad copy of the XT5. Also there is a list of Fuji lenses that will fully resolve that 40mp chip, although the 16-80mm ...

I don't know about the S5II, but the Om1 AF is miles ahead of the Z6II and Z7II. The XT5 AF is pretty good, but still not up to the OM1 AF. However, what killed the XT5 for me was the low level ...

Of course. This is obvious. And a F2.8 lens will be better in low light than an F4 lens. F2 better than F2.8 etc.

I have had the Z7II, 500mm PF, and I also have the Om1 and 300mm F4 and the PL 100-400mm. First off, the PL 100-400mm has a significant copy variation. More than I would expect, but if you get a ...

True. I have never used the G85 but the mic jack is a big deal for video.

Yes. Micro USB. Also will transfer images, but I think it has to be a specific compatible cable. The battery is tiny and doesn't last long.
-
Yes with the GX85. Plug the other USB end into a power brick, computer, wall charger or whatever. Not sure about the G85. I do know the GX9 will not do unlimited video. But it has a 1.3x crop anyway.
-
It's not as bad as you think. I use my 2x primarily for the moon. Works well for that. But get the Panasonic 2x TC and one you can return if that copy is not up to par. Also you have to have a ...

GX85 - USA model has unlimited 4k recording as long as the battery and card lasts. They make a USB battery adapter that plugs into a battery brick. Oddly enough 1080 p is limited. I have recorded ...

I would say it depends on what and how you shoot. If you shoot interiors, then start with the 8-25, else the 12-100mm should do. Or if you want super wide, buy the Laowa 6mm zero D + 12-100mm used. ...

I find that occasionally the TCs are useful on the PL100-400. If you intend to try a 2x, try the Panasonic 2x. IMO the IQ is a step up from the Oly 2x. That said, I did get one soft PL 2x that was ...
