  • I stick with KEH and Robert's camera. The Fred Miranda site is also good.
  • Mine is not quite that bad.
  • A7 ll for IBIS and open PDAF to use with adapters. The Techart LMEA7 will AF you manual lenses with the Sony A6300, A6500, A7II, A7RII. Doesn't work with the A7 or A7R or A7S (I think)
  • I don't know the history of this camera. It may not have been cleaned in years.
  • Replied in Filthy sensor
I have swabs and eclipse coming. Honestly, in the past I have just blown off dirt 99% of the time. I think I swab/cleaned only a few times years ago in the past on a really dirty sensor but this ...
  • Created discussion thread Filthy sensor
What is the recommended product to clean an SLR/N sensor? Thanks
  • It has nothing to do with "impress" or "self esteem". That is a ridiculous statement. I have owned several of each and the IQ of full frame is the best for now at least as it should be. I am sure ...
  • Personally I think MFT has designed itself into a corner unless they come out with some new super technology For now FF Sony E is the best but you are correct. The system cost is very expensive. I ...

Is there a codec or something that will allow me to view DCR files in faststone? Right now I dont see any Kodak DCR raw files at all in faststone.
  • The Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 is a sharper lens than the FE 28-70mm I had. It was fine at 28mm and F2.8 but at 75mm I needed to stop down to F4. That said I have had a number of those lenses in different ...
  • I tested this lens again today, and if I visually manual focus it without focus assist, it is in focus. Using AF (or focus assist) it is way front focused at 20mm but at 40mm even at F4 it looks close.
  • Will do on the photos.
  • So, I called midwest and talked to them. They can calibrate my camera for $295, but now I think it may not be a camera problem. I set up a more serious test on a tripod with 3 vertical pins so I ...
  • Not sure of anything right now except I have two lenses that are severely FF. Thanks for the info.
  • Thanks. I tested another manual lens so it looks like the mirror needs to be adjusted. It's been years since I have done that. Last time was a SD9. Oh the pleasures of old cameras.
  • Thanks, I decided to go a different route. I manual focused it visually and the AF light confirmed and its still front focused. Got it.
  • Thanks. I opened a battery case and search the number but nothing came up. Only thing I could find were Nikon 3.7v batteries that look the same only with a plastic housing. 5.4.10 is working well. ...
  • Got it on the shadows. Yes, makes it worth it.
  • Created discussion thread A few SLR/N questions
With a lens like the Rokinon 14mm with confirmation chip, will the camera expose properly of will I still need to meter with an external meter? As far as rebuilding the batteries, can you use NMIH ...
  • Nikon AF lenses on commlite AF adapter on A7RII. How does this combo work compared to a MB4 or the Sigma adapter?
