cshyde: OK other than intimate massage devices just what is their area of strength? I have been waiting for a replacement for the LX100 but it looks like there may never be one.
Panasonic makes a crap ton of products including batteries. Batteries that power cell phones to batteries in Tesla electric vehicles.
I don't know what to think about this adapter. Some sample images would be nice with multiple lenses, not just the Tilt shift.
You should have asked them why they didn't come out with a EF-S wide angle prime...
Ugly and overpriced
In high school photography class, I used my fathers Olympus OM-1 with the 50/1.4 silvernose. I used to mess around and put my eye right up to the lens. I only later found out (couple years ago) that the front element was doped with radioactive thorium...
KonstantinosK: Interesting. I didn't know about folded optics. Is there the same solution in my TZ-5? And is this used in today's travel zooms?
Not sure about the TZ-5, but most water proof cameras that don't have extending zoom lenses use this design such as Olympus' Tough series, Fujifilms' XP series, Panasonic's TS series and Sony's TX series cameras (not water proof).
Ill wait for the GT3 RS version.
